  1. Past hour
  2. You can see the potential in this highlight reel. I think it’s accurate to say Keon, after the top guys in that Draft, has the highest variance of being a bust or a star. The issue for me is that he won on contested catches and slants. Two things Allen hasn’t liked to throw his entire career. That has to probably change if Keon Coleman is going to be a thing.
  3. Top 5 is based on talent available though. For running back, is everyone in the top 5 a superstar? Barkley and Henry are. CMC when healthy. Then there’s a sizable drop off imo. With WR, I think the superstar list extends past 10. A better way, imo, is if you were an FA today, would you be in “near top of the market” money. Brown would be. Dawkins would not.
  4. Thank God the adults are back in the White House
  5. Russia collusion...hoax. Very fine people....hoax. Suckers and losers ....hoax. Trump is a convicted rapist.....hoax. Etc... But sure Quack, this one deserves more discussion. I mean the walls be closing! 😂
  6. I'm reminded in Ryan O'Halloran's Buffalo News article today that the Bills traded up 20 picks to get Shakir... at #148 in the 5th round. Shakir is part of the larger discussion of the Bills 2022 draft. While the Bills whiffed on Kaiir Elam, they struck gold with James Cook in the 2nd round, Terrel Bernard in the 3rd, Shakir in the 5th, and Christian Benford in the 6th. Behind a paywall: https://buffalonews.com/sports/professional/nfl/bills/article_22add474-2a3b-4e78-804b-beddd4447c8c.html From the article: “He was a ‘Bills Blue’ player all the way – a guy who, the more time we spent with him, we knew he would be a great pro and a culture and Buffalo fit for us,” Bills' Assistant GM Brian Gaine said. “We didn’t have a fourth-round (pick), and we never thought he would be available in the fifth round. We were sweating it out in the fourth and the top of the fifth, and we traded up.” The Bears received the Bills pick #168 and drafted OT Braxton Jones. Jones has started all 40 games he's played for the Bears though he's only been healthy for 23 of the last 34 games. The Bears drafted OTs in the 2nd and 6th round this year. The Bears also received pick #203 in the Shakir trade, which they used on running back Trestan Ebner who's been out of the league since August 2023.
  7. More talent at the skill position. Particularly receiver. A Diggs type #1 to pair with Shakir. Coleman might be that guy. We'll see.
  8. Agree, looked into Best Buy total, what they offer doesn't seem worth 180.
  9. One needs a large wallet to finance such dalliances...🤔😁
  10. Just scrolling through and we have a pretty liberal interpretation of “superstar” when it comes to our own guys. 🤣🤣 My perception is that you need to be top 5 at your position, or top 10 for important positions (QB, LT, WR, pass rusher) to be considered a superstar. Go back and ask yourself, “is ______ one of the best 5 or so players at his position?” If your answer is, “no,” he isn’t, or isn’t about to be, a “superstar.”
  11. I don’t think anyone in that org has a gun to their head tbh. The Steelers play meaningful football every year. Whether they have a real chance of winning a Super Bowl is debateable, but they are always in the mix. The Bills and Chiefs both found their franchise QBs being WC playoff teams. I think tanking is supremely overrated and Steelers ownership wants none of that. The bigger sin in Pittsburgh since Ben retired was NEVER taking a big shot on a QB. And if this Rodgers plan succeeds or fails, I imagine they will be forced to.
  12. Josh already got his MVP. We know how this works for us. Now, we're gonna lose in the wild card round
  13. I also was wondering if this was Tomlinson related. Either because he is ready to hang it up or he was getting pressure from ownership. Pickens seems like he is another in the same troublesome WR mold they get rid of just before they melt down.
  14. Bigger problem with perception of AJE is that we have had a massive need at EDGE rusher his whole career here. If Rousseau was a double digit sack guy, the fan perception of AJE changes into “solid second round pick” imo. But because we have never really had a very good EDGE rusher during both of their tenures, they both feel underwhelming. It’s why fan expectations for Keon Coleman are so lofty. We need a very good weapon on the boundary ASAP. If he’s just an okay pro, like a Gabe Davis, he will be viewed as a disappointment. Whereas Gabe was seen as a pretty successful pick (I know 4th vs 2nd but I think even if Gabe was a second rounder folks would think he was a good pick.) It’s sorta like if you really need a QB and you take one middle of the second vs 1st overall. The expectation/desire is going to be “eventual franchise QB.”
  15. BREAKING: @DNIGabbard says there are over 100 documents that prove Barack Obama DIRECTED this treasonous conspiracy. "This is not a a Democrat or Republican issue. This is an issue that is so serious that it should concern every single American because it has to do with the integrity of our democratic republic."
  16. That's how the Internet works in 2025. It's all appalled and outraged now a days. Well that and stupid dances
