  1. Past hour
  2. Agree tenfold. From 2019 to 2022 he understood adding elite talent over JAGs is a good thing and now has gone the other way.
  3. After nine years it feels like a change is needed. The Eagles eventually moved on from Reid, and he had more success in Philly then Sean has had in Buffalo. He led the Eagles to 9 playoff runs, 6 division titles, 5 NFCCG appearances as well as a Super Bowl appearance. The Bills IMHO need a change. I would love to hear from Terry on what he thinks of the Bills right now since his opinion is the only one that counts.
  4. of course. Jordan missed plenty of shots, and Brady lost a bunch of games. these are human beings. I think it’s totally fine to call plays they miss. though my expectations aren’t perfection and I don’t think he is the primary overarching issue with this season unless we are accepting that the only plan was the we have super man and he can just turn it on and off at will. why can’t the receivers also play towards their floor and not their ceiling? especially missing Palmer/kincaid
  5. I don't know what's going on but the dam injuries have sucked this year !! It looked as if going into the season with the players they had it would be a decent year but I don't know of any team that could sustain this many injuries especially to starters and the depth players ridiculous .
  6. OK.. When Josh is playing in-system, the passing game can be a solid B. When he does not, it is a D. No A grade because of limitations in the receiving corps, but when it is at below B, some of the fault lies with Josh. And it seems the further below a B it is, the more it is Josh not playing up to his standards, not because the receivers just suck. Agree?
  7. I was on board for letting Edmunds walk at the contract he signed, just didn't feel like he was worth it. But after seeing all the overpaid contracts Beane hands out to JAGS he drafted, I would have much rather they just paid Edmunds. Palmer and Samuel contract is about what Edmunfs is. Then look at Bernard, Benford, Knox, Shakir, Milano etc the list goes on of overpaid Jags. Money would have been better used just signing Edmunds
  8. I presume Kubiak knows a lot more than I do, but seeing his comments as well as others in the thread I’d say the answer is all of the above. I’d make these points: 1. Our O line stunk, and even those with a modicum of understanding of the nuances of football could see that. Terrible run blocking and we cannot adjust the blitzes a lot of times (might also be on Josh). 2. WRs. Our WRs do struggle to get separation, and we really miss Palmer in that regard. Plus when Josh was rushed they did a terrible job adjusting routes or working their way to an open spot on the field. It is not the group per se; the only major difference from last year is Hollins and that can’t be why this group is so non-effective. 3. Josh. It seems to me he is hesitant at the line and not sure what he sees in the defense. As a result he is hesitant about where to go with the ball, and as such is not seeing guys that are more open where he can make easy completions. I don’t place any stock in the marriage affecting him stuff, but he does look like he is getting confused and frustrated out there, which leads his to try and play hero ball too much such as with the sneak and fumble that essentially ended the game. 4. Brady. This to me is the biggest problem last week, and in the other losses. He does not adapt well at all within games and he gets away too quickly from stuff that works. I keep talking about two things from last year: the 4+1 alignment and using Ty Johnson as a receiver. Both highly successful last year, neither used much this year. When we pulled that dumb 4th down play I knew it would be a long day. Just an overall horse hockey performance by everyone associated with the offensive side on the football.
  9. Cook didn’t get many carries because he was getting stuffed every time they ran the ball and it was putting them behind the sticks in a game where they trailed from the beginning. People don’t want to admit it, but Miami has a pretty formidable front seven vs the run. It’s their DBs that are awful and we couldn’t take advantage.
  10. Bro saw Keon play the last nine weeks and decided he must be washed. Can't blame him. https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=774537612034620
  11. I saw that and was like "WOW", plus the little pregame here we go have fun in the tunnel thing is not very motivating
  12. When I become a thousandaire I'm going to do the exact same thing just walk away I paid my dues just like he figures he has !! 🤩
  13. I think that’s completely common sense but….
  14. Would be hilarious if he needed glasses. (Not II but..)
  15. I want that too, but that's where we are looking at more serious risk. For as bad as the defense is, if you try and put this roster in a signifgantly different scheme prior to reloading it it will be similar to what the Jets had this year on defense. If your pain tolerance is THAT high, then all good. It does eventually need to happen if McD goes. Just needs to be delicately with how many overfit pieces we have on defenses.
  16. I think they should keep Beane he knows how to maneuver in the draft but I think that if a different HC's input when it comes to what players to get might be the difference maker . Beane has hit on some really good players weather you or ay one else wants to admit it and has the balls to make some big decisions on certain players but I think McD may with his input might not be the voice needed in the room . I would like some change but like a lot of you I'm not sure if a total tear down is what is needed there are people in place that have taken this team from the bottom of the barrel and brought them to the point they are at which is not a bad thing . I do feel they need another strength and conditioning staff for sure this injury thing has F'd up a lot of this season I know it's not a excuse I feel that if all the Bills players were healthy we'd see a much better product on the field !!
  17. With Josh I think he has been off since the NE game which he played well but guys like Coleman are fumbling, penalties added up, and the offense was no longer easy or trust worthy. Since then only the KC game has he really looked in rhythm and the offense itself for that matter. Additionally players are human and if I were him and we failed to add a WR when you are out Palmer, Coleman has not developed as hoped, and everything feels shaky that would hit me mentally that this is what I have to work with and best of luck. I don't buy the Haillee crap at all, he had his best season and was league MVP when engaged to her last year and has spoke openly how she has helped him with football. That is drama for people who loved drama. He is in a funk which has happened before, he will eventually snap out of it, and he like always will be the reason we watch come December and January.
  18. Not sure what you're saying but I think we're agreeing. Allen has had games where he's played better than this Sunday and yet we've seen the same sputtering offense even when winning.
  19. "I don't think he's had this little talent around him since Wyoming." Hey now! That's a cheap shot to the Wyoming football team! 😀
  20. Oh absolutely. I put both his fumble and INT square on his shoulders as poor decisions. He also missed some throws and missed some open plays. In my mindset I'm not as interested in just pointing the finger at him and saying "You played like crap." I'm far more curious about the WHY he played like crap and why it continues. Leave Josh's Nuts outta this lol
  21. For me, it’s the fact that I think this regime has gotten stale. The Bills were better 4 years ago than they are today. I believe a new voice and fresh outlook are needed. These guys have fallen in love with the guys they chose. That’s why you’re quick to extend Bernard or to bring back guys like Spector and Dane. Personally, I also think that they are near their floor now. With this schedule, and a healthy Josh, 11-6 should be the worst they could be with any competent leadership. There’s no downside risk imo. I don’t think if you hire “insert GM & coach name here” the Bills all of a sudden become a 7 win team. That’s just not happening. These guys get a ton of credit for building to here but they get very little credit for their ability to take it beyond here. Teams on the verge have made changes before and won championships shortly after.
  22. I love this! And yeah... I think so
  23. That would be wrong. This team is nothing without Josh. The common thread is Josh is fine and everyone is covered because the receivers suck. That is not entirely true. Simple answers are often wrong. Varsity Blues?
  24. They played the percentages that they could replace him for less with similar value and Milano at the time was still relatively healthy and had started 31 of the prior 34 games in the prior two years. Unfortunately Milano got wrecked injuries and now is a shell of himself and Bernard has had major regression in the defense to the point you need to talk about replacing him. For the record I think they made the right move and some things didn't go their way/I do wish they would've added a solid vet LB after 2023 to reinforce behind Milano.
