The NFL has done a lot to protect players in ways that does not change the revenues. Rule changes for hip drop tackles, late hits, body weight and strike zone for qbs. Concussion protocol even though it is a joke, kickoff rules. They will not reduce tv windows, that will only be expanded. the sum of the rule changes has made things better at least for qbs. I remember watching inside the nfl in the 80s and it was all about the bad football due to backup qbs.

We play New England coming off their bye. That's total B.S. Division games should always be on equal rest. They shouldn't play Thursday games until the bye weeks start. Teams play Thursday after their bye. The NFL doesn't care about anything but $$$. Expanding the flex scheduling does not take in to account that the stands are filled with people with jobs and often come in from out of town with very specific travel plans. They DGAF.

Just reading "in the hunt" has some PTSD implications for me. I did 20 years of "in the hunt." I need the Bills to win a title before we go back to that.
