WUT? Maybe his sack numbers are lower than we'd like....but he has 5 FORCED FUMBLES which leads the league and ties a Bills franchise record His play the other day may have been the turning point in our season IMO

Game week thread - Bengals at Bills (flexed to 1pm ET)

Bolded above has been a huge issue this year for Buffalo (11 I think in the last 4 games). We also seem to start slow/flat. It's going to be a tough game. Throw the records out for both teams. The Bengals present a lot of problems for the Bills D. -
Looking ahead to the Patriots rematch.

Tomlin is just McD all over again. Same philosophies, same issues hiring coordinators, heck they were even teammates on the same college team. If/when we move away from McD we need a major change. Either a hot shot young OC, or a more aggressively-minded coach like Vrabel. -
Bosa needs to be retained

A lot of Bosa’s plays came in big moments. Every game he has a sack, the Bills won FWIW -

I have had that exact discussion with him. He prefers investing in OL to protect Burrow. -
Yea and I get it they are hard to find.... but Eagles traded for Brown. Higgins was a 2nd round pick (okay 1st pick of round 2). Pickens was a 2nd round pick too. In the time he has been here no team in the NFL has spent less day 1 and 2 draft capital on wide receivers than Brandon Beane. You miss every shot you don't take.

A Few Thoughts about the Steelers Game - Community Edition
BearNorth replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
Noticed from the snap counts vs. Steelers, we used our "big" WR's Shavers (45 snaps) & Davis (43 snaps) more than we used Shakir (36 snaps), Coleman (33 snaps) or Cooks (17 snaps). Knox had 53 snaps and Hawes had 52. -

so you refuse to click on any links that would explain to you what laws were broken, (again, this is not a topic i really care about) so why do you want to have this conversation. you don't. just so you know, i clicked on the link and it's perfectly fine. you could look up the answer to have the discussion, but you won't do that either...so what's the point. you call people out, but yet you can't even use your own words. when you do it's nonsense like this. take your ball and go home. when you come back...emojis and clips. it's all someone like you has. -

So... ...if they can average 7 yds per carry we'll be fine. If not... -
This is somewhat true. The Bills-Patriots have exactly three games different on their schedules. Bills got Texans, Chiefs, Eagles. Patriots got Titans, Raiders, Giants. That's a pretty significant difference in opponent quality. Not to mention, they got the Bengals with both Joe Burrow and Jamar Chase out. We get to play them with both on the field. We also got the Ravens before all the injuries hit. At the end of the day, there are no excuses. The Patriots are going to win the AFC East, because (as you said) we blew it against some very inferior teams. Not because we had a more difficult schedule. Take care of business against the Falcons and Dolphins, and things look a lot different for the division. The Bills seem to be sleepwalking through the season, while the Patriots are focused and playing hard against every single opponent. The real question is... what happens in a month when the real bullets start flying? Everybody knows there is a different intensity that level when the postseason hits.

Well, someone told me yesterday That when you show your love away You act as if you just don't care You look as if you're going somewhere But I just can't convince myself I couldn't live with no one else And I can only play that part And sit and nurse my broken heart So lonely So lonely, so lonely (I feel alone, I feel so lonely) So lonely (I feel alone, I feel so lonely) So lonely, so lonely (I feel alone, I feel so lonely) So lonely (I feel alone, I feel so lonely) So lonely, so lonely (I feel alone, I feel so lonely) So lonely (I feel alone, I feel so lonely) So lonely, so lonely (I feel alone, I feel so lonely) (I feel lonely)

As long as you win enough in the regular season to get to the dance and you can get to the point where you have figured out which players will have you playing your best ball late in the season and the chemistry's have been. established anything can happen . The Bills went on a run the last few years after having a lull in the middle of their season and we have Josh Freakin Allen - so then there's that . Anything is possible with 17 running the show on the field !! GO BILLS !!!

Same Play 29x's & Jackson Hawes
Sierra Foothills replied to BillsShredder83's topic in The Stadium Wall
Exactly, Chaos. And when other teams do stop our run game as they have before and inevitably will again, are you confident that Brady will have an answer? This is exactly my concern. We were concerned about the offense earlier this year and then we beat KC and everyone was placated... until we were stomped by Miami. Brady has absolutely not proven that he's evolved as quickly as he should. Apparently Coleman got some snaps from the slot against Pittsburgh... something posters here have been clamoring for all season long. Maybe there is hope but I'm more of a proof guy than a hope guy. I know Josh loves Knox and recently said something along the lines of "trusting him with my life" but Knox still struggles to catch the ball. A few times in recent games he's had to fall down in order to secure a catch where a better receiving tight end would have radiused to pluck the ball out of the air and head upfield. I guess it's too late to hope that Knox will ever improve as a ball catcher. -
mow hurt and guess what muscle a HAMSTRING. do we not stretch proper???? he hasn't made the big impact but playing alot more than we expected or projected

There's only 17 games in a season. Every game is a "must win". -
Currently in the last wild card spot. Odds are at about 90% to make the playoffs. 3 of our 5 games are Cincy, NE and Philadelphia. In order to get the "mini bye" week 18 and be able rest key starters we may need to win them all. May need at least 2 of the 3 just to get in. With the Jeckyl/Hyde nature of this team, and lack of any downfield passing game, anyone feel good about that?
