Does Thurman Thomas Get His Due? (Offseason rehash topic)
Another Fan replied to folz's topic in The Stadium Wall
I tend to think Freeman McNeil was the most underrated running back of the 80s/early 90's.... I would say he was a just cut below Thurman. Thurman at least made the HOF. It's funny today I still thought about Super Bowl 25! Must be a Bills fan thing to still sort of think of what could have..... But then I thought if they win that game would history have changed where Josh Allen wouldn't have become a Bill. -
The Bills “likeliest” guys to elevate to “superstar” don’t play positions that we associate with superstars. Benford is the obvious choice. Ed Oliver has the ability to ascend into the elite tier. Spencer Brown is one of the game’s best RTs. James Cook is the one skill player that could become a superstar but a lot of Bills fans don’t like him because he wants a contract extension. They don’t have any edge rushers or WRs that belong near the conversation. The edge rushers and pass catchers don’t belong near the “star” conversation, forget about superstar. I’ll say Cook strictly based on position. If he ever plays on 3rd downs he could become one of the top 5 RBs in the game. That’s generally what I think of with a superstar. Are you top 5 at your position?

This "couple" should win a Noble Peace Prize. They have done the most in uniting Americans about anything in a long time...... even if it's laughing at them!

Does Thurman Thomas Get His Due? (Offseason rehash topic)

If Norwood makes the kick not only do the Bills win Super Bowl 25 but Thurman wins the Super Bowl MVP as well. Wonder if that happened how he would be looked back at today by NFL fans universally -
The fact that it's not upscale is exactly a big part of it's charm. It's a true Buffalo kinda staple

Quarterback Career Comparison Allen vs Lamar
Doc Brown replied to BillytheKid's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't quite get the argument either unless he's arguing that he's a much more complete player now. Which he is. He's answered all the critics who've questioned his passing prowess. He's improved at reading defenses, manipulating the pocket, his short and long yardage accuracy, and throwing the ball effectively outside the numbers. He's just got to do what Allen has to do and win a Super Bowl. -
TJ Sanders Signs - Draft Class Complete!
Sierra Foothills replied to sven233's topic in The Stadium Wall
To put a bow on it, from PFT: "As the 40th overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft, Shough is the lowest pick in the draft to get a fully guaranteed deal. Until this year, no second-round pick had received a fully guaranteed deal, but when the 33rd and 34th overall picks got their rookie contracts guaranteed this year, that led agents for other second-round picks to demand fully guaranteed deals for their clients as well. In the end, the first eight picks of the second round got their rookie contracts guaranteed. According to the report, the Saints also agreed to a stipulation no other second-round pick has: Shough will get most of his pay each year as a guaranteed roster bonus during the first week of training camp, rather than having to earn most of his salary weekly during the regular season." Next year's 2nd round pick negotiations should be interesting. -
He knows what’s behind each door. He skipped ahead to door 3. Nothing. He knows Door 1 has the prize. Stay.

Public executions would be better at this point. How much longer are people supposed to put up with the very real danger someone like Bill Gates poses? -
That's the question you came up with from that? ***** clown.

We have an annual event here, streets get closed down, all kinds of vendors selling stuff (I avoid it), people come from far and wide. Parking is an issue, a friend of mine’s house is close to the event. A few years ago, while standing in his driveway a woman pulls up on his lawn. Not like two wheels on the lawn, the whole car. When he asked her what she thought she was doing, she pointed to her handicap sticker. And by the way, you can only get a couple of hundred miles further spots than here.

It's Time to Mandate Vaccines
The Frankish Reich replied to The Frankish Reich's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I don't recall saying anything about whether children below a certain age should get it. To say it did "minimal good" without rigorous study or citation to such study more about mood affiliation than analysis. And remember, when we are talking about herd effects, the efficacy of a vaccine on the individual recipient is not the sole form of analysis. If the vaccines caused widespread horrific side effects, I think we'd be seeing better evidence than this after 4+ years. -

Frankish this belittling of side effects from a medication that did minimal good that YOU advocated be forced on every child in our country is a terrible look. -
