If it’s not a Bills’ shutout I am so done with this team.

Got a feeling this one will be controlled by the bills, but also closer than we may think. Miami is coming off a ton of plays defensively in the hot sun, now on a short week. I think Joe Brady is gonna try to wear them down in the run game. Predicting First 2-3 quarters will be close, but bills pull away a bit in the 4th. We shall see

I remember the melting down of Bills fans when he left and had a few decent games for the talentless Giants. Oh the weeping and gnashing of teeth! And then he did nothing ever again.

Worthy is hurt, Rice isn’t back for another 4 games and who knows what he will look like. Its kinda poetic that we could end Miami’s season tonight, and they could trade Tyreek to our biggest obstacle as a result. IMO, there’s no team that Tyreek would have MORE of an impact if added midseason than the Chiefs

I agree with you in that I feel Coleman was the Bills FO choice the whole way. But if we believe that, it seems likely that the Bills made the trades believing none of the other teams would take Coleman prior to them. But there are differences in having 1st vs 2nd round. One major difference being the contract and franchising strategies. With a first rounder you get 5 years vs just 4 for a second rounder. It seems reasonable to think that Carolina traded up one spot to get that advantage. The Bills apparently did not think that made that much of a difference. I remember thinking when the Bills traded down that it increased the odds that they would get McConkey over Coleman because McConkey was thought to have the higher floor but lower ceiling, which would be the kind of player you give up the first round perks for. So far that scenario does seem to be playing out, McConkey had the better season last year and Coleman is closing the gap this year. I still don't know why Beane traded down into the second for a player who would take longer to develop but has a high ceiling. At he end of next season if things progress the way they are looking it is going to cost a lot to extend Coleman - more than what the 5th year of the 31st pick in the first round would cost.

I went to the Fins game in Orchard Park last season. I had the same feeling that people do now. We were going to steamroll them 40-10. But guess what, Miami went up and down the field on our D, used their speed and quick passing game, and they were in the game all the way until Bass hit a career long FG. Everyone knows a Bills blowout tonight will result in Miami firing their head coach and maybe even the GM. I think the fish play hard and make this a game but ultimately they cannot stop Allen, our Oline and running backs. The Bills will win comfortably...something like 37-24 but Miami will move the ball well enough to really annoy some people on this board.

Not sure what Miami would get back in the trade - but what is the point of tyreek as a deep threat when you have brown. For the motion looks they like to run, worthy seems to be the guy there. Rice is primarily in the slot. If Worthy projects to miss a lot of time going into the 2nd half maybe? I just feel like these WRs get brought on mid-season and never make the same level of impact.

I love Miami week down here in Florida.....I always put up my Bills flag on Gamedays, and I have a few Fins fans on my street that I know are annoyed by this. Therefore, I purposely got up early this morning to make sure the flag was on full display before they left for work in the morning!😂😂

A new proposal

Puka was slower than defensive lineman in the 40 at the combine. I don’t think anyone should be blamed for not drafting him. It’s all hindsight now.

We learned at draft time how this dude was the best blocking TE on the board and how he would fit in as a sixth OL for the offense. At that time tho, there were a handful of prospect analysts making a point to mention that while you didn't see it a lot, he had some skill and value as a receiver. Then during camp we heard time and again how, "This Hawes kid is more than just a blocker!" And how it seemed like as camp went on there seemed to be some new plays and wrinkles in the offense that were designed to get Hawes more involved. Seems like the team and coaches/FO really like the guy and wanna develop him. Hawes also appears to have the right makeup to really succeed and turn into a solid player.

I am impressed that McDermott tempered the players’ arrogance after an epic comeback win and had them deliver a businesslike beatdown against a team that always puts up a fight. This week, I think the players show their maturity and determination with a similar businesslike win at home.

It’s wild to see how apprehensive most have been about the first two games, to now.. everyone thinks we win by 40 points. We might. But, imo, this game comes down to the first half. If Miami keeps it close at half, it will be a game. If we’re up multiple scores at half, they likely give up.

He doesn’t have any confidence because even HE knows he sucks. Colossal bust.
