How will Trump’s tax INCREASE affect you?
Homelander replied to BillStime's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits

Wow, all that rage and still not one fact to refute what I said - just union name-dropping and personal insults like that somehow substitutes for an argument. You can call me names all day, but it won’t change the fact that nearly 400 FAA employees were fired under Trump’s watch, and mishaps spiked under the same leadership that you refuse to criticize. That’s not politics it’s basic accountability. But hey, if screaming “moron” makes you feel smarter, go off. Just don’t confuse noise for knowledge.

this is what I will call rock and roll brass tacks. This is as basic as it gets. a Black Gibson Les Paul and a fun song I remember so well from back in the day. watching the chord changes is cool. No I cannot play. I love this song. I wish we had call phones with video capability back in the day. This song was played live with a kick ass sax solo and it was KILLER Marty Mitchell Band circa 1979 or so Phoenix AZ here is his wiki https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marty_Mitchell_(singer) 38 special caught up in you

I was all for the prosecution of J6 perpetrators, however, there were more than a few stories of prosecutorial overreach. The Dems pressed the advantage they had, looking to make a statement by hunting down everyone they possibly could find. I think most reasonable Americans look at the way liberals generally approach crime (soft on perps, hard on LEOs), say the way low level offenders were tracked down and rejected the approach. Put another way, I think most people that are victims of crime would appreciate the time/effort/commitment the Biden DOJ spent on tracking down and overcharging low level offenders, but realize the hypocrisy in play. I think it mattered in November, and mattered beyond people who identify as MAGA voters. So, pardons were appropriate for some, not for more violent offenders.

There seems to be some kind of misconception about Hamlin that he is a poor athlete and really slow. That's just not true. He is an average to above average athlete at safety. He has an RAS of a 7, which means he is above average. His composite speed grade is good. He is 100% an NFL caliber athlete. People need to stop saying he isn't, because it is false. Does that mean he should be the starter? Not at all. He is a good depth safety with starting experience, though. Not a bad guy to have on the roster. Bishop is an elite athlete though.

I didn't agree with those one's either. Founding father's screwed that one up as they should've anticipated the potential for a president to abuse that power. -

It helps us, but I never wish injury on a player. Prayers for a quick recovery -
I was in the camp that we should have moved on from him. But I feel like if they felt the same way, they'd have worked harder early in Free Agency or higher in the Draft to sign and/or Draft a big time 1T. I think the plan is to rotate Jones more and keep him fresh. Move Sanders over there on obvious passing downs to rush alongside Oliver. But I really don't see much of a chance that they're going to hand the position over to a Round 4 Rookie coming off of a bad back and DeWayne Carter, who would be transitioning to 1T and honestly looked worse than Jones to end last season. Exactly this. They extended Rousseau long term with an 80m deal. They paid Bosa 12.5m for 2025. They signed Hoecht to a long term deal for 21m. They Drafted Landon Jackson with Pick 72. You don't do all of that and then Trade a Day 2 Pick and pay a 9 figure contract to a guy to put over top of all of that.

His Defensive Coordinator at New Hampshire said “He broke decades-long strength records in three months at New Hampshire” and “He’s the type of person you want to build your team around." He said furthermore, “I don’t know what you do with him. I don’t know where you put him. (But) there’s zero chance he doesn’t make the team better. He’s going to adapt to whatever you ask him to do. He’s going to work exceptionally hard at it, and he’s going to do so to the best of his ability, and his ability is pretty special.” Apparently Owens played both cornerback and safety and was a team captain at Yale (before transferring to UNH). Yale head coach Tony Reno told the Yale athletics website. “Wande is an exceptional player and an outstanding leader. The Buffalo Bills are getting a great one.” Pretty much all the scouting services had him ranked as an undrafted free agent. One had him ranked as the 21st undrafted safety.

Best players need to start, every day all day. Let’s hope Bishop earns it. And if he can’t, then Forrest and Hancock may get their chance. We all know what Hamlin is. Good guy. Hard worker. But not an NFL athlete. A safety room of Rapp Bishop Forrest and Hancock should hopefully be very good. Those are some very good athleticism numbers. Let’s hope that translates to some real strong play on the field. Bills seem to have done a real good job fortifying their secondary.
