Normal response? IIRC this wasn't even an interview, Beane proactively called to mother fork them on the air. All Beane had to do was yell at his radio alone on his car like a normal person.

Who do we want, who do we need as our next HC and, or GM?
BigBilly11 replied to jaybeezee's topic in The Stadium Wall
Id prefer Beane goes. Anyone from SF, KC, Phi, Det front office McDermott-great coach but being Def minded head coach is such a disadvantage. Especially when the Def is average. O coordinator is always changing. Ridiculous to have Josh and have a run heavy offense. -

I seriously can't stand how this roster is being managed -
Coaches are heavily implying that Coleman isn’t trying on the field

Were We Running Into a Stacked Box?
Buffalo716 replied to st pete gogolak's topic in The Stadium Wall
That's why running on a stacked box is about execution You get hats on hats with a guy like cook who shoots through a hole and he's not far from being one-on-one with one guy between him and the end zone -
Guess our genius OC forgot we have Josh Alien. Because they have been trying to turn him into Trentative Edwards

Thanks dude. -washed old artilleryman

This was my heavily downvoted comment back then. Justice for LEBills too! Still so strange how he handled this. If he had just had a normal response like “hey I wish we could have added a bit more competition there too, but I have confidence the guys we have will do well this year” no one would ever recall this radio segment, even with the WR struggles
-
He knows he ***** up. That’s why he tried to go after Waddle. He wanted Keon Coleman to work and it blew up in his face. I fully expect Beane to make a Diggs like addition to the WR room this off-season.

Were We Running Into a Stacked Box?
EmotionallyUnstable replied to st pete gogolak's topic in The Stadium Wall
Similar concept here, condensed formation and better execution on the cook fumble. 22 personnel outside zone lead. More solid work upfront from the hogs (Dawk solo, double from Edwards/McGovern to the backer). Again, intentionally bringing guys into the box to get a hat on a hat quickly. It puts a lot of stress on the defense, creating extra gaps to account for. Here you see the gigantic D gap between the TEs is exactly where we lead. You’d like the Hawes Gilliam combo to come off to the corner not pictured initially, and Knox to not allow his guy backdoor access and it’d be Cook 1v1 with the safety. Scheme is sound, execution is good, result is awful because of a heads up play by Miami. -

Schoen hasn't looked hot in NY -
I used to think this. Then I realized that Joe Brady is apparently poison to any WR he coaches here. Diggs was a shell of himself with Brady. Davis was a shell of himself with Brady. Shakir is now a glorified running back. Brady wanted Samuel. Samuel is a non-factor. Moore is a serviceable WR everywhere he’s been. All he does here is run failed jet sweeps. Maybe Diggs was right to force his way out after seeing the direction this team was taking on Offense. It worked when teams didn’t have a full season of tape on it, but now they do and our passing offense looks 10x more dysfunctional than Jaxson Dart throwing to a WR room led by Wandale Robinson.

Hate to say this … but the Pats are effing good
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
They can still be good and overrated at the same time. I don’t think they are 1 seed good like people are starting to proclaim. They are going to run into a buzz saw when they face the Lamar Jackson-led Ravens and i can’t wait. -

BillMafia716ix replied to jaybeezee's topic in The Stadium Wall
Nobody really knows. People just want change for the sake of making a change. No guarantee that changing HC/GM will amount to anything. What I do know is that under McDermott/Beane the Bills have done a whole lot of winning. Now they haven’t reached the SB which is disappointing but they have been close. It always comes down to one or two plays that has prevented them on kicking the door down. -

Yeah but that would be in two drafts A savvy move though but not a 2026 3rd round pick -

What has Gruden ever done besides run a good Tampa roster into the ground? Seriously. What's the infatuation with this guy?
