Not sure on the day game/night game split, but this year the Ravens are just 3-5 at home. Of course, some of that as well may be due to all the injuries, but on paper this year the Baltimore being dominate at home doesn't appear to be a thing.

Exactly right. For SB 36, I bet a mortgage payment on NE getting 12 1/2. Never told the wife. I knew Belichick would come up with something to slow the Rams down. But Ill tell you, waiting for kickoff was an excruciating few hours. I promised myself I would never bet again. All I could do was drink and pace at my buddies house. I knew at halftime I was going to win but that day aged me. I haven't placed a bet since.

Wouldn't this be the most "Bills" season for us to win it all? I don't know about anyone else, but I always pictured that dream season where the Bills dominated, ran through the playoffs and won it all This year with the imperfect roster, all the hand ringing and "Beane and McDermott need to go" sentiment, not leading the division basically all year, losing to nothing teams like Atlanta...we, collectively haven't been able to settle in and enjoy the ride this year. Would be just like this franchise to win it all in a year we had so much "wrong"

I have no problem giving the Patriots credit for winning 10 in a row. You can't do that without good coaching and quality play. But neither can you do it without a healthy dose of luck, by which I mean injuries, weather, scheduling quirks (like timing of the bye and which teams you play at home and away) referee bias (yes, it exists, if only because they're human), and so on. Put it this way: A team made up of All-Pros, with two seasons to play together can coached by any staff you wish, still might not win ten in a row. Such runs are simply not all due to how wonderful and special the team is. I'd say that if the Bills had just ripped off ten in a row. The Pats could easily--easily--have the same or worse record than the Bills and be the exact same team it is now with the exact same coaches and exact same intangibles. So let's not get carried away by the utter gloriousness of this team, as so many commentators are. Yes, records matter, obviously, but essentially they're just another top-ten team in a season where no team in that tier has separated from the rest.

I dunno - its been a weird year. We got smoked by Houston away, and we lost to them in that absurd game in allen's 2nd year. Kinda feel like its a "get that win back" type of thing. I also think we haven't heard the last of KC. I just can't see them dying when 10-7 is still on the table and the only teams in their way are the chargers and colts.

It’s crazy seeing them blame Travis who is having a way better season than he should be at 36 years old That chargers win last night really really hurt. If the chargers lost that one I think the chiefs probably would’ve snuck in. Now if the chargers beat the broncos week 18 who very well may be resting starters chiefs are done even if the chargers lose every other game and the chiefs win out

No doubt the Bills are a good team BUT " Jan Bills are monsters" without a SB appearance or conference championship?

Absolutely. Die Hard features several redemption arcs, a common theme in many Christmas movies. It was also among the first action films I can remember to use a holiday setting as a central plot device. In my opinion, Die Hard feels more like a Christmas movie than Die Hard 2. I’ve always found the second film somewhat derivative. For me, Die Hard with a Vengeance stands out as the strongest entry in the series.

Get the 5 seed. You can still technically host two playoff games if the chips fall right. Houston is one of the hottest teams right now, could see them winning one or two games as the 6 or 7 seed. Provided the Jags hold them off for the division. A lot can happening. I'm holding out hope for at least one home playoff game. But got to take care of business for the 5 seed.

Regular was $2.77 yesterday but the State announced the gas tax is going up by 4.2 cents on 1/1/26. In part because of lower than forecast fuel consumption. Maybe lower because of EV adoption? EV owners currently get a pass on highway fund taxes but the State is evaluating plans to impose an annual mileage tax on EV drivers.

Yep 2 division losses for NE also gives them 2 conference losses which is one more than us. That would tie up the head to head and division tiebreakers and give us the conference tiebreaker assuming we don’t lose to another afc team which isn’t unreasonable I wouldn’t start getting excited until beating NE but with Miami playing better it really isn’t impossible if we win the NE game
