  1. Past hour
  2. Agree with the last three games take. With 6 games remaining, Josh has a chance to regain MVP stature. But with OL injuries and this WR room, I wouldn't count on it, it's not going to happen 🙁 I expect him to be on his back most of the game versus Pittsburgh. Unless... Joe Brady has a new trick, which is highly doubtful given his track record.

  4. Exiled, please don’t misunderstand I have zero against the Bears or their fans. They’ve barely been relevant since that vaunted 85 season and was happy for my corporate buddies based out of Chicago. They went to that one SB against the Colts and were no match for Manning. The Bears also have been mismanaged for so long, for example Lovie Smith wasnt the first coach to get them relevant again and was a double digit team under him and they eventually fire him and fire other coaches ever 2 to maybe 3 years at most. They keep blowing up their team, pick at the top and choose poorly like Trubisky, Fields, etc. They may have finally paid off with all those high picks. The problem with the Bills during the drought is often we’d often finish 7-9 to 8-8, and I think maybe one 9-7 year. We’d never pick outside of a couple of horrible years and when we did, we’d blow it with awful top picks like Mike Williams, and so on. Anyway, my sentiment is just I’m glad to see the Bears show real progress and challenge the Lions, Vikings, and Packers. Good for them.
  5. Tangent
.. Virginia Tech doing Enter Sandman is one powerful stadium music moment. Call me old school. but the music, energy, Flag and ROTC kids jumping up and down brings tears to my eyes

  6. Maybe the college teams won't be allowed to wear cleats. Real men would play barefoot. Mack Hollins anyone?
  7. Actually for you to say "Offensive genius yes. But that he'd be in the GOAT conversation pre Mahomes was laughable" in response to me saying "To their credit, the Hunts also hired Andy Reid" doesn't make much sense. You can criticize Andy Reid and Donovan McNabb and Nick Sirianni and McBeane and I wouldn't argue too much though Reid's accomplishments in Philly speak for themselves... but it's sad that while the Chiefs jumped at the opportunity to hire Reid, the Bills were hiring Doug Marrone.
  8. If you should ever leave me Well life would still go on, believe me The world could show nothing to me So what good would living do me? God only knows what I'd be without you
  9. Today
  10. Agree. WithPittsburgh having a worse record, I have to beelieve they will "want it more". Pittsburgh 27 Bills 17
  11. The organization is in free fall
can’t wait to see what these doofuses come up with next year
Here’s to hoping Beane does not get close to drafting or signing another player
We need to stop the bleeding while there’s still time to save Allen’s career

  12. He's a seasoned vet. They'll give him 5-7 plays to memorize and a couple checks. He'll be ready Allen at his core is a sandlot QB. You can throw me and you out there and he'll make it work
  13. I'm SO glad this thread was revived. As I caught a lot of heat about both Ben Johnson AND Caleb. Will you look at that? I was right. AGAIN.
  14. At the same time, we have a better chance of making the playoffs as a whole. Yeah it sucks not winning the division but it sucks more not making the playoffs at all. I’m not sure if a second team comes from that division at all.
  15. Just a couple of comments by a way too old guy who had to look up the song on youtube: 1. Talk about inappropriate songs as sports anthems: "Sweet Caroline"? Really? 2. For those who pay attention to things outside of our borders, the Liverpool soccer team in the EPL sings "You'll Never Walk Alone" before every game? What's that all about? 3. If my girlfriend was swapping bodily fluids with some other guy, I think writing a song about it is the last thing that would come to mind. Just sayin'.
  16. Trading a 1st for Diggs was bold and worked for a while. Still didn't get us over he hump.
  17. We gotta stop bringing in like three mid guys every off-season at WR and just take the plunge on a great WR or a very high draft pick. Great players also miss less time. My sense is Josh needs less interchangeable oft-hurt guys and more dependable players who he can get in rhythm with and trust. What John Brown, Cole Beasley and Stefon Diggs were to him 2019-2022.
  18. Should be quite the circus act the rest of the way.. McBeane really know how to pick WRs.. Mmmm..
  19. And those teams underachieved too and Reids refusal to run the ball and God awful clock management were frequently the problem in big games. He needed to be fired by the end and he fixed some of his issues when he came back. It also helped that Mahomes is better than McNabb. Coincidentally his Eagle teams also grossly underinvested at WR for most of his tenure, then went and got TO and actually made the Super Bowl. Unfortunately for them, TO got hurt and Donovan was barfing on the field. And though this isn't directed at you, I will also point out the Eagles have won 2 Super Bowls since firing Reid, with two different coaches. The constants have been Howie Roseman and Jeffrey Lurie. Has Beane been able to construct the teams that Roseman has? The Eagles are playing like crap right now and their roster is still better than the Bills. Sirianni was under fire early last year and obviously got it together but they are back off the rails again and people are pissed. He could 100 percent be fired and Roseman wouldnt think twice about it because he's already fired a SB winning coach and replaced him with another SB winner. The change will be made if it needs to be. Meanwhile, in Buffalo, McBeane will go on forever whether they ever win anything important or not.
  20. Between the altered clapping cadence, JV coordinators, and wood shop glasses we would be lost this year if it weren’t for McD and Co.
  21. And there it is. Don't dare to criticize Lord Terrence. Without him we'd have no teams at all! How dare we question his wisdom and benevolence! Like I said, he doesn't know how to do better so he's afraid to try. These guys have carte blanche until Allen retires and Allen will be one of those guys with ridiculous stats and no titles because they wasted him. Oh, by the way, he just hurt his throwing elbow for at least the third time. Will he miss time? No. Does your UCL like that sort of abuse? No. Is it shortening his career every time his elbow gets hurt that way? Yes it is. And yeah, this team has underachieved and actively got worse this year. The defense is unwatchably bad and the offense is equally horrendous against any team with a semblance of a pass rush. The offensive coordinator got a vote of confidence mid season when most would have gotten fired and the defensive coordinator is a nepo baby who can't coordinate his way out of a wet paper bag without Sean's help and even with that they still suck. But yeah, they primed this squad for a title run this year. No mismanagement at all. Just a run of bad luck. It'll be fine next year.
