Battle for the Division: Bill and Pats remaining games poll.
Luka replied to Chaos's topic in The Stadium Wall
The KC game, as illustrated time and time again by graphics splashed all over the screen, was a meaningless regular season game for the Chiefs and our Super Bowl. We never beat them when it counts so it isn't really impressive. We also tried to lose that game at the end so it certainly wasn't an impressive win. -

Yeah, I obviously know all that. I’m mostly kidding, but the optics are not great right now. -

Brandon Beane is that you? -
This is the kind of shakeup the roster needs. But it might be worth experimenting with Coleman in the slot, backing up Shakir and giving Allen a bigger target (albeit one with the separation ability of a startled sheep).

McD said in meeting with the media this morning that Taron had a "yellow flag" overnight that they wanted to be cautious with so he would be Limited today in practice when asked if Taron had a setback as to why he was being downgraded from Full to Limited.

07 pats are the greatest team I've ever seen. I don't think it's close. Maybe some older ppl saw the 89 49ers or 78 Steelers What was the KC game? I agree with you he was not good vs Miami. -

I don't think so at all. He's got the same look on his face during that interview that he does while he's sitting on the sidelines after turning the ball over in the end zone. He's clearly not putting the work in in the offseason anymore. Looks to be regressing a great deal. His priority is no longer football. And again, with the continued mismanagement of the organization, I really can't blame him. No matter how perfect he plays they can't get over the hump and if he has one off week there's no one on this team that can back him up and they look like the drought Bills all over again. -
Yes, the rich and powerful have often used their positions in society for their illegal or unethical financial advantage. The context of my comment is about those people participating in the Epstein affairs and sexually assaulting minors which is as low as one can go in the depths of depravity. I’m not aware of Biden using his pardons on these types of cases. As you seem to equate the two issues here it sounds like you’ve come to the position of “if he did assault some girls with Epstein, it’s not that big of a deal because look at what Clinton and the Biden’s have done”.

Ahh it shows KC still in the top spot on my apl but the Bills are lower than 2 now.. it’s odds making.. let’s just enjoy the games and yell at our team when they let us down and cheer them when they excel.. because I Harley to say it but things change and they aren’t always right.. see the Pats undefeated reg season and SB prediction and 2001 SB as an example.. -

What pissed me off from last night's game besides having to watch Justin Fields play NFL QB, (Is there a worse passer of the football than this guy?) Is watching Hollins and Diggs run free all over the field making lots of catches. They (especially Diggs) made it look so easy. We could still have both of those guys in our top 4 WR's. And our offense would hopefully be so much better. A top 4 of Diggs Hollins Shakir and Palmer looks pretty solid. I know Diggs did not want to be in the McClappy culture any longer. But Beane did nothing to replace him. And that seriously should be a fireable offense. -
Probably by some of the many posters who demand instant gratification and use those and fantasy football stats as the only “true” measure of performance.

My worry is that the Pats are a better team than the Chargers, and Vrabel is an excellent coach. I think Harbaugh might be overrated and washed. -

Tua, maybe. Herbert, absolutely not. He’s never won anything, despite having been surrounded with a talented team most of his career. He’s never come close to winning 9 games in a row, or being the leading MVP candidate. -

I mean I guess dude. He just won MVP and the bills are still only 1 game back for the 1 seed. Don't get me wrong, I disagree with some of the ball control offense heavy formation but they're still top 5 in scoring and Allen has a rating over 100. He just eviscerated the 2nd best defense in the NFL in kc imho You're overreacting to a let down spot on Miami which many predicted. I'll be there with you on more concern if they drop the Tampa game Correction bills are 6th in scoring -

I think that's a misreading of that quote. It's more in the context of no expectations like every year is a new year and each year has new challenges. He has said repeatedly ad nauseam that his goal is to win the super bowl... -

I will say that it does seem like the Bills have actually performed better when it came playoff time in the seasons when they had some real competition in the division. In particular, I am talking about 2021 when they never seemed to win any of the close games and the division title wasn't decided until the final game of the season. That team (13 seconds aside) was the best and most-playoff ready team we've seen in this era. Actually, it seems like an every-other-year situation in these regards -- with the Bills dominating during the regular season in the even-numbered years (2020, 2022 and 2024) but fighting to the very end in 2021 and 2023. Now we're back in and odd-numbered season and indeed 2025 is looking like 2021 and 2023 with the Patriots putting the team in the position where the margin for error is razor thin. As it is, the Bills need to win out and hope that the Pats lose another game to ensure another division title. In essence, the Bills are already in a playoff format if they expect to make it to the tournament, let alone win the division. Things sure would have been a lot easier if they hadn't crapped the bed against Miami last week. Let's hope that debacle taught everyone in the organization a valuable lesson. -

That's one thing that really struck me last night - at least half of his completions were to guys that were wide open. Like, wide open. It's wild watching a game like that, because we never see the same w/ the Bills. Josh is lucky to get a few plays where receivers are that open, and usually it's because of a broken coverage. -

Herbert and Tua have absolutely had 9 game stretches similar to what Maye has done this season. Not sure about McCorkle. -

When your star player is asked by a reporter in the offseason "what are your expectations for this season?" and he responds " I don't have any expectations for this team" you should know that it isn't going to be a good year. Not even towing the Super Bowl or Bust line or anything. Just pretty plainly stating he doesn't give a ***** anymore. Can I blame him? No.
