Game week thread - Bills at Steelers

I am very confident about a win and i haven’t said that much this year. This game is too important for Buffalo. The Ravens dropping 1 against the Bengals was huge. This win will distance Buffalo in the playoff race a lot more. People think it’s gonna be a COOK game, but I think Brady is going to flip the switch and let Allen go out and sling it w/ his new WR. Time to ***** or get off the pot. If they lose… My SB aspirations will officially be 0% if they win… i give them a 10% shot, but those are pretty high odds. The AFC is such a cluster ***** of teams with weaknesses. The Patriots seems to be the most complete of all the AFC team IMO. Also wanted to add that the Bills Special Teams have been on fire. A couple good returns could flip this game on its head real fast. Chris Tabor has done great with the return game. (that’s if we don’t get non-stop blocks in the backs to screw up the field position battle.) -
I still think he’s the best QB in the NFL, but I’m losing hope in this. Mainly because our FO never gives him enough to take over. It seems quite common now for us to have a chance to win, with the ball in his hands, and we just can’t. Chris Jones beats Dawkins in the playoffs and JA gets hit as he’s throwing to a wide open Shakir in the back of the end zone. Pass falls short. Bass misses the tying FG. Game over. Spags completely outsmarts us on a defensive playcall in the playoffs the following year. Free rusher. Allen falling backwards somehow gets it to a catchable place for Kincaid. He can’t make the catch. Defense gives up a first down. Clock runs out. Game over. Last week, 4th and 1. Dawkins false start. 4th and 6. We run the same concept Houston had a beat on all game. Same protection. Allen gets quick pressure. Incomplete pass. Game over. Unless we just demand Allen run through defenses for game winning TD’s he needs to rely on his OC, his OL and his playmakers. To which he’s constantly let down by one, two or all of the above when it matters.

Brady came out of the bye week with the same formations and same plays. He either doesn't or can't change anything.

Who missed more time in the last two years-Curtis Samuel or Baylon Specter? -
Keon Coleman likely to return against Pittsburgh

I disagree. The last 3 seasons, the most favorable thing that could’ve happened to us was staying healthy. I think we beat KC last year if Benford is playing rather than Elam. I think we beat KC the year before if we had Benford, Bernard and/or Milano. Add Von being useless for 3 straight playoffs. Trying to make our own luck signing Von made it more difficult to make big moves the following 2 offseason as the cap will eventually catch up and cripple our chances down the road. Again, I was hoping to make a big move at WR this offseason, but adding that WR while suffering multiple key injuries would likely end the same. Not many teams win super bowls after losing their best players to injury. Who did Philly lose last season? Who did KC lose the previous two seasons? Who did the rams lose in 21? Answer: nowhere near the amount of talent the Bills were without in season ending defeats those seasons. -
Anywhere this game being streamed? Miss the days of International Cable carrying H.S. Games.

You cannot attack survivors in the water. It’s morally reprehensible. -
There is zero reason for this to occur unless Joe Brady has some violent fetish in watching Josh Allen get beat up. We know we’re down two starting tackles. We know Pittsburgh has a strong DL. There are zero excuses to not have TE’s, a 6th OL, RB’s etc stay in to help protect. Going into the Texans game, it was reasonable to expect Brown & Dawkins, arguably the best Tackle duo in the league, to hold their own. They didn’t and Brady never adjusted. Because Brady can’t adjust. He panics when the bullets are live and can’t deviate from his gameplan. He’s a joke of an OC .. but he knows what’s coming this game. Has a full week plus to prepare for it. Zero excuses for Allen to get beat up like he did against Houston. I’m not saying our Offense will look good. It might be a slog. But it d**n well better not be due to JA getting hit 30 times.
