Cook is obviously having another incredible season (and I think PFF's grades align with that too if I remember right), but some of the holes Cook was hitting this week were so big even you and I would have gained yards lol. Mentioned it earlier in the thread, but PFF probably punished him pretty hard for forcing his own fumble and aside from having insane volume, his numbers were pretty pedestrian; I wouldn't be surprised if things like his rushing yards over expected was pretty low, and PFF is really looking for the ability to create yards that aren't blocked for you by making difficult reads or forcing missed tackles and I know he didn't really do the latter this week.

He has done it against good Defenses. Cleveland he sliced and diced and got hammered by Garrett for 5 sacks in that game.. The Bills do have a good D and he played well against the. The first time.. Tampa D isn’t bad and he lit them up.. Again this year the AFC is just weird with most teams struggling or just outright bad. -

Tua is abysmal playing in the cold. -
The one thing I am not looking forward to this Sunday night is listening to Collingsworth drool over Mahomes for the entire game like he always does.

Agree, except I would add the Ravens in Baltimore would be a bad matchup for us, that would scare the Hell out of me!

Not as weak, demented or incompetent as the last guy. So it's an improvement right? -

Trump tends to pick on high-profile enemies. Like threatening a military tribunal for a former president. So perhaps the criticism of him as a wannabe strongman is fair, but should be qualified with the point that he's not capable of being a strongman because he's weak, demented, and otherwise incompetent. -

Just keep winning and the playoff seeding will take care of itself. -
Picking up kids at airport 9:30 am.. head straight to stadium. Should we park along Big Tree Rd up towards the Big Tree Inn or along Abbott north of Southwestern Blvd? Was thinking Big Tree to allow for a visit to Hammer Lot (which I assume is full by then(?). Any thoughts, particularly of where the lots start to be full along Big Tree and Abbott around 10:30? Much appreciated. Haven't parked in non-stadium lots in many years. Want to show the kids a taste of the pre-game madness I grew up with

Coach Tuesday started following Gotta Go with KC Over Texans
-
Maybe yes in a vacuum but we all know how this works - if the Chiefs win on Sunday night, it will give them the confidence boost they need to go on a serious run. Whereas if they lose, again, players inevitably start making business decisions and their season starts to seriously circle the drain. I'd much rather see that happen then watch the Chiefs take hold of the national narrative again.

Idk bengals offense is so bizarre…the skill positions are stacked but the oline has gotta be pretty close to leagues worst. It’s kinda a race between these two things any given play they scored 32 on Baltimore but a ton of that was short fields off Baltimore turnovers leading to fgs… they went 2/12 finishing drives with tds in that one and 8/19 on third down. Looked like the ravens pretty bad pass rush had a pretty good game but the offense turning the ball over (once through the end zone) sank them -

I'm rooting for KC over the Texans. The Chiefs at 7-6 don't dramatically up their playoff odds and the Texans losing puts them most likely out or near out of the race for their division and gives the Bills better margin for error for a wildcard spot. Plus I genuinely think the Texans are the only true bad matchup for the Bills in the AFC. -

Maye is good but I do want to see him do it against better defenses. We've seen guys burst out in year 1 or 2 in recent years and comeback down to Earth. CJ Stroud set the rookie record book ablaze in 2023 and he's not been bad but he's regressed a bit in years 2-3. Jayden Daniels this year same thing. Bo Nix has also regressed from a strong rookie year. Credit to the Pats for winning on their schedule but there's a long way to go for Maye. -
I think Knox is more effective getting open in the passing game whereas Hawes is more using the blocking to leak out for passes here and there. But Knox's hands are so bad he's one of the guys that really tests my thesis about hands being maybe the least important part of being a pass catcher. And while Knox is an adequate blocker, Hawes is clearly among the best blocking TEs in the league already. I very much hope Knox is gone this off-season or if kept, is on a huge pay cut, but he's a fine player. Just more of a pretty good #2 TE.

We tried him on two slants against Pittsburgh. One clean drop, one poor route that led to a drop on a tougher than needed to be catch. Allen has thrown 2 INTs in his direction downfield this year. Shakir has had a few opportunities to make routine sideline catches and couldn't finish. I don't know why so many Bills fans still think that we under utilize him. He isn't a traditional slot WR that you can feed normal targets to. Every time we've tried to give him a bigger role it's turned out poorly.

Credit Joe Brady for running the play until they proved they could stop it. So many times OC's even good ones will stop running a successful play for no reason. The Bills had an unstoppable play and just kept running it. No reason to do anything more complex.
