Happy 54th Birthday to Mrs. SDS

Happy Birthday!!!! đ -
Should of been the case after the Atlanta loss! We do the same stuff every year. Come into these games completely unprepared and take losses that end up costing us the bye and home field throughout the playoffs. When are we really gonna learn?? It's all excuses to me at this point. We really got whooped by one of the worst teams in the league on Sunday.

I wouldn't disagree. You also appointed a guy as a WR1 who isn't there yet, and may never ascend to that level. I'm not an arm-chair GM who likes to talk about woulda coulda shoulda - this is the team you have. You have to figure out how to get him going, benching him isn't going to just all of a sudden fix things - not to mention WHEN (not if, cuz lets be real they have terrible injury luck this year) he's called upon you want him to respond. Lining up WR1, and WR6 with the WR2 out is certainly "a choice". Palmer gets hurt and somehow we see shavers on more snaps than samuel and moore. You have a couple PS call-ups for gabe, you should get palmer back soon - then it becomes cut shavers once you run out of call-ups for gabe. Figure out the ST snaps after the fact.

If the Bills win the rematch with NE and they end up with the same record (both possible), then the loss to Miami costs the Bills the division, assuming NE beats the Jets twice and Miami at home in December (which is likely). -
We overlapped. I was with the 24th from 1989-1993.

Especially on Twitter, the reaction every time we add some room temp body to the PS is getting more sad by the day -

"WR2" but he's target 2-4. Kincaid, Shakir, and Palmer should average more targets. Davis didn't play from the slot when he was newer, he just subbed in on the outside IIRC. Let him and Coleman split the outside reps. -

correct. A bunch of them occurred late in the Baltimore comeback game and most of them are James Cooks run of 10 or more yards. -
https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6798426/2025/11/12/kickoff-returns-concussions-injuries-nfl/ "But the rate of concussions per 100 kickoffs through seven weeks rose from 0.09 in 2024 to 1.18 this season, according to internal league data that was shared with teams and viewed by The Athletic. The concussion rate per 100 kickoff returns climbed to 1.48 through seven weeks, compared to 0.29 last season. The data shared with clubs indicated that it is roughly five times the leagueâs baseline concussion rate on run or pass plays."

The question about what the problem is with the Bills passing offense is like one of those tough multiple choice questions from college/university. The kind that confounded you because you had to find the MOST CORRECT answer. The choices seem to be: a) The receivers are garbage and cannot get open, Josh has nobody to throw to. b) Brady is garbage and his schemes are too predictable and get nobody open, Josh has nobody to throw to. c) Josh has been garbage this season, his receivers are open all over the place but his head is not in the right space and he too worried about throwing a pick. d) The Bills whole offense is based on running, they dont care about passing anymore e) All of the above f) none of the above -

That's how we felt about Allen when he started. Mainly the FA class and draft class they had - 16 new starters. Plus new competent coaches, Maye ascending, and an easy schedule. -
Put Mitch in and trade Allen for a kings ransom then. đ

Joe B ranking of all players through 9 games
paulmm3 replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
OCT has been our worst individual OL pretty much every game this year. Strange to see him so high. -
Some prefer the NY Times playoff predictor but I like this one, you can pick game by game and playoffs spots update with each pick: https://www.espn.com/nfl/playoffs/machine I keep coming up with us as a 6 or 7 seed, which is fine as we would miss 4 seed Baltimore

Explosive plays are defined as any pass play over 20 yards or run play over 10 yards. They have multiple of those every game.

It was one game and any reason for why they all played poorly is just more excuses. Chalk it up to one more loss at 6-3 week 10. Better than 6-6 in 2023 and that year Miami was 9-3 at that time...guess what? Buffalo went on to win the division. Perhaps it was the firing of Ken Dorsey and that put some heat under some behinds. Perhaps it was also the hiring of Joe Brady. Let's just hope the Bills players use this loss to motive them and go on to win more games.

Josh Allen is quite frankly not playing well. His mechanics, foot work, pocket presence, and vision have all been a mess. What too many people here do is throw their hands up and say "Its the WR's" - and they do that under an assumption rather than actual film study/review. They think Allen is so good that his issues can't possibly be his fault, that it must be who the personnel is. And no one is disagreeing with wanting a top end WR1. But, that does not get to just be a convenient excuse to gloss over and ignore the bigger issues around Allen, Brady, the OL, execution, self inflicted mistakes, bad turnovers, etc.
