  1. Past hour
  2. I don’t know if the numbers tell the full story with Samuel. I was watching him solely on a few plays and it still looks like he’s got similar burst to what he’s always had. I’d like to see him get more reps in the outside.
  3. I was referring specifically to the first image of what appeared to be an email in the tweet you embedded. It clearly says "president" but I wasn't sure if that was supposed to be the email from Epstein to which Maxwell was responding in the 2nd image in the same tweet.
  4. I agree with your assessment of both. Torrence to me has been steady in his career but far from great or elite. I would definitely think he replacement with an average G either through a higher end draft pick or mid level free agent.
  5. What value does Shavers bring?
  6. The Bills struggles are told literally in players 26 through 33. 8 starters listed (or did start in Rapps case), both starting LBs, your starting WR2, etc.. just awful.
  7. No one is saying "Allen is infallible" but the lack of play making WR's, and at times a porous D that requires an offensive design to protect it, bears a much greater responsibility for the Bills offensive problems then Allen's play. The problem is that Allen must be infallible for this version of the Bills to win games and as we all know Allen is not infallible.
  8. I’ve believed Gabe Davis would be a worthwhile signing when activated from the PS. He got injured last year so you still had recovery issues I agree Moore hasn’t been used as that deep threat/ field stretch and they seem to only use him for end run plays. samuel has been non- exustant. Unsure how much the injury he had factors into that. i would use more of Zcook as a slot/ WR and then have another RB in backfield.
  9. They've largely run it back each off-season since 2021 and haven't made a major move since signing Von in UFA. Agree...the audacity and urgency is gone and it's reflected on the field. There's a lot of comps of McD to coaches like Schottenheimer and others who refused to change. I don't totally disagree, but the difference is McD off the field is really the chief strategy officer and when you have an admin GM, that's a bad combo. The HC is constantly focusing on the coming season whereas the GM is longer term/bigger picture. You don't have the HC being the CSO or else decisions will be focused on fixing last year's problems. It's how you get an entire off-season, not coincidentally, of adding several defensive players. Yeah...they missed a chance to inject some life into that roster and failed. This, I believe, results from McBeane's assumption they'd rally like they did in previous seasons. They mis-read the room.
  10. That is necessity because the downfield plays aren't working. They are trying to find ways to get the ball in the hands of their smaller shifty playmakers - Samuel, Moore, Shakir in space with a chance for YAC because they can't get them open down the field.
  11. Its sad. Feels like there was an opportunity this year to show some signs of real progress, maybe even sneak into a wild card spot with a lot of luck. Now its looking over before it even began. I don't see how they keep their heads above water over this stretch while they wait for Benson, Kulich, Norris, and Zucker to get back in the lineup and playing at full speed. Dahlin is in uncharted territory. If the Olympics weren't being held this season I think he'd be done for the year, just my own speculation. The beleaguered fan base isn't interested in any excuses or even good reasons for why this season is going down in flames and I don't blame them. I think its going to get even uglier and it may lead to more talent forcing their way out. The hole gets deeper.
  12. swap 3 and 4 for 1 and 2 and all good probably bump 10 and 18 some too
  13. Obviously not that bad, but there are moments.
  14. Minimum of 135 snaps. Hairston will be on there soon enough. Bishop has gone up over the course of the season. He is a good player, but he has had some rough outings too.
  15. Being in Miami maybe had him thinking about golf? Should we be favored by 5.5 against Tampa?
  16. "And in the end, the love is equal to the love we make or take.. or some crap. We don't know. Let's blame a woman for our troubles." - The Beatles That's exactly how they sung it. I was there. We're going to blame a woman now? Classic Bills Collapse.
  17. Interesting. But Hairiston isn't on there & Palmer slid even though he didn't play. There may be something in the criteria for that. Also, Bishop is too low at 20.
  18. meh. I see jet sweeps and bubble screens as the main non-Cook vehicles in this offense, particularly at critical times.
  19. This 100% and it doesn't bode well for the Bills. I suspect the lack of any move to upgrade Allen's weapons at the trade deadline hit him hard. Allen is good friends with Darnold and it must have stung to see Seattle go out and bring in another WR while the Bills sat pat. And the play of the D has to be frustrating Allen in 2 ways: They can't hold on to a lead or win a 16 - 13 game and Allen is being told to play in a way that doesn't fit his overall skill set to protect the D. Look at Burrow who also has a bad D. The Bengals don't put a governor on him and design an offense that protects their D they go in the opposite direction and turn every game into a shootout. Sure it hasn't worked out all the well but I bet Burrow is having a blast out there and he probably thinks that if the Bengal's got a great RB to go along with their awesome WR's they would become the greatest show on turf and start winning those shootouts.
  20. I dunno. Josh played just fine in the '22 Sept inferno game in Miami throwing for 400 yards while everyone else around him was drop like flies from dehydration and cramping.
  21. But it doesn't. There are deep routes, there are patterns and plays designed to go down the field. Guys are not getting open, Josh is being a bit tentative in attacking tight windows and it is resulting in a lot of check downs on plays designed to go downfield. Brady's offense in Carolina attacked down the field plenty. They were 9th in the NFL in explosive pass rate in 2020 with Teddy Two Gloves at Quarterback. The plays are there in the design. They are not being made primarily because the receivers can't get open.
  22. SEC football is the sole reason to have any connection with anything Disney
  23. I feel like Milano really hasn't made a play all season. He has one sack, one TFL, and 11 solo tackles this year. He has zero forced turnovers, zero fumble recoveries, and -- most shocking given how elite he was as a pass defender in 2022 and the first handful of games of 2023 before injury -- zero passes defensed.
  24. So that they can look good by advertising that they offered the credit, but save money because some people will forget, not figure out how to redeem it, or won't care enough to bother.
