  1. Past hour
  2. It probably has to do with Beanes propensity for doling out one year contracts, and NE gave him a two year deal.
  3. I'm going to get ridiculed for this but i want this team to focus on football right now. i'm all for championing the community, outreach and support for the community, and being a great person... but right now every player should be nose deep in the playbook, film, and field. [/ $.15 rant]
  4. I don't understand downplaying what the Pats are doing. Good players, better coaching staff and a QB who is improving. Winning 8 in a row is impressive.
  5. Go watch the games back - Josh wasn't that good in 2023 when they were 6-6 and won their last 5 games. Josh struggled in the games against Houston and Baltimore last year. History repeats itself - this team has had stretches like this several times over the years. What's frustrating is the decline in how Allen was last year to this year. He was surgical last season, and now seems gun shy. He needs to be better, the WRs need to be better, the defense needs to be better. They have shown they could be in the past - will need to see if they can do it again.
  6. I’m guessing he was your Designated Drunk Driver? I met a kid who held that self-appointed title. He was in rehab at the time. He said “I had no idea why it’s so hard for them to drive drunk.” Practice, practice, practice!
  7. He definitely has a say, but Beane also has a say. Terry said that both men have equal power and only report to him so neither one of them is the boss of the other. They are both responsible for where this team is and sadly it appears to be declining this season.
  8. For those around Buffalo. It’s a free event. Good for Dion! He should be a lock for our Wall of Fame too.
  9. It's not even that the Pats are good again that bothers me. It's the monumental failure of the three amigos running our organization. The Pats we watched last night are what the Bills were just a few seasons ago and there's no reason we shouldn't still be that. After Daboll left, Mcdermott had a different vision of what he wanted this team to look even though the key pieces he had in place didn't fit that identity. On offense he wanted to morph us into a ball control run heavy offense despite having one of the most athletic big armed QBs the league has seen. On defense he wanted a 4 man front that could dominated the line of scrimmage and play zone defense behind it and yet all their guys are totally undersized then we spend 1st round picks on DBs who have no clue how to play zone defense. Beane's roster management has been abysmal. We're paying/payed big contracts to guys who haven't contributed nearly anything. Blown 1st round picks year after year. Paying Diggs $31 million to leave town despite having nothing to replace him and then he ends up torching us on every team he's been on since. Brady's playbook must have been drawn up by a 3rd grader. It's just that bland and predictable. Each week that passes leaves me with a growing hatred for these guys.
  10. That's life (that's life) I tell ya, I can't deny it (ooh) I thought of quittin', baby, but my heart just ain't gonna buy it And if I didn't think it was worth one single try I'd jump right on a big bird, and then, I'd fly
  11. Diggs was right
  12. It took us 20 years to rebuild and find a franchise QB. Took the Pats less than 5 years.
  13. IMO, that is a byproduct of what McDermott wants, short, high percent passes that keep the clock moving, everything this team does or is is McDermotts baby and everybody is just a yes man to him.
  14. This why Kraft hired Vrabel?
  15. Love it! Everybody go long, Everyone step back!
  16. Does anybody know what the relationship between Beane and Daboll was like?
  17. Trying to silence the players with this feels icky. They should have a voice.
  18. If they had gotten even a halfway decent game passing from him then maybe they could have pulled off the upset. They played the Pats tougher than I thought they would.
  19. Offensive HC is the only option if you make a change. Let’s say McDermott stays, fires Brady and brings in a new OC. New OC turns around offense and with Allen at the helm adds a little flair to his play calling, instantly that OC is on the HC train for someone else and the Bills need bring someone else and a new system. The main reason for KC and Mahomes success long term has been Andy Reid and a consistent offensive system. Allen has played like crap, wr group is lacklustre but the offensive philosophy and roster makeup have McDermotts meddling stink all over them.
  20. I have a friend that blew a .28 and told the cops " this is really low for me, are you sure?" True story
  21. Justin Fields has to be the worst QB I’ve ever seen that has gotten as many chances as he has. The announcers said it was notable he got over 100 yards passing
  22. How much do we have invested in JAGs that could have paid Hollins? Catastrophically stupid decision to blend in nicely with all the others
  23. We had our chance, didn't capitalize on it. Now the window has officially closed. Pats have rebuilt and reclaimed the East. So now it's going to be a wild card from here on out if we even get to the playoffs. That's what we get for trusting a middling coaching staff with the best QB in football. Every year he's trying to carry the rest of the team to the promised land and he doesn't make. Now I feel like he's married and golfing and he's probably checked out mentally. Very similar to Aaron Rodgers.
  24. Of course officer, I only had a drink or two and just "tipsy". 🙄
  25. But the cops shouldn't be arresting people for .32
  26. Maybe he saw the trajectory of the 2 teams and went where he felt it was best. It sux
