Los Angeles under military attack

Military ordered to arrest American citizens. That is the test, the line is crossed. Precedence for political enemy to be arrested. Using the military against citizens...amazing. -
Are you suggesting Cris Collinsworth counted the votes?

Because the truth of it is it's never as easy as one thing. Even 13 seconds which was overwhelmingly a coaching fail, in order for it to play out the way it did it still required the UDFA they were starting a corner to misplay his assignment. Football is just too complex to pin point a single point of failure.

I agree if Californians want to allow people to burn cars, and loot stores that is their right, especially if those doing said burning and looting are here illegally. -

Our 2017 roster isn't at our 2025 roster's level though. If you are replacing Josh with a scrub, then yea, they are a 3 or 4 win team. But I don't think that is the right comparison. The right comparison is the Geno Smith type comparison @Kirby Jackson articulated. Sure, they are varying qualities of backup QB in the NFL. But any team required to go to its backup for an entire season is going to e under .500. Had the Eagles started Kenny Pickett for 17 games in 2024 they are a below .500 football team. -

Yes, it's important to identify who is funding these violent groups. -
I think it's totally fair to feel that way. I disagree completely, but I think that's fine. At this point, I feel like we are spinning our wheels. We have the same conversations about desperate team needs at critical positions in what feels like every offseason (DL and WR), we have the same conversations about bad luck vs injuries vs coaching being the root cause of the latest defensive no-show in our latest playoff defeat and every year, Josh gets a bit more older and a bit more banged up. Cam Newton's last year of performing at a just "good" level was at 30. Not every QB is going to be Brady and play until 45.

Sure doesn't read that way to me. Looks like Dungy actually voted for Josh, but that his vote wasn't at first counted. That the correction is to correctly count Dungy's actual vote for Josh. And Dungy is generally great. I have extreme respect for him.

I dont have time to fact check every article you just posted, but I have no doubt each one could have holes poked in it. For instance, the first headline makes it look like the Brazilian was a US Citizen being detained for no reason. It appears from the small write up he was in fact not a US Citizen. The second article's headline makes it look like this poor pregnant woman was shoved for no reason other than ICE is a bunch of out of control nutcases. When in reality she was looking to harbor an illegal and resisting ICE's attempt to apprehend a criminal. Should a pregnant woman ever be shoved, no. Should a pregnant woman harbor criminals, also no. When you put yourself in bad situations, bad things happen. The last article is my favorite because it plays the "brown skin" card. ICE agents don't need warrants to arrest criminals. You can post as many sad empathy inducing headlines as you want, but the bottom line is these people are or are supporting criminals. -

I was actually curious how you get paid to protest and I found this https://crowdsondemand.com/protests-rallies-and-advocacy What I find most interesting is there is no way to apply for a position, so how do they find these people? -
This is the exact deal we had before “liberation day” only with worse tariffs lmao

I think most Americans have a soft spot for the hardworking undocumented immigrant that came here decades ago and has, for the most part, become part of our societal fabric. In a perfect world, we can distinguish between that person and the illegal immigrant here that has committed crimes beyond crossing the border illegally/overstaying a visa or is simply leeching of our system with zero desire to ever assimilate. The problem is, there is currently no mechanism to adjudicate all that and we can’t have a country where a Democrat President opens the borders for four years, letting who knows who into this country, and then when we elect someone to remove people here illegally, liberal judges block us from even removing hardened criminals and sanctuary jurisdictions block ICE from enforcing federal law. It’s sad to hear a story here and there about someone who most of us wish could stay.. but in that sweep is also 30x more rapists, drug dealers, human traffickers and people who came here with zero desire to contribute to society and simply contribute to overwhelming social services in the communities they reside. There are no good answers.. but a response is needed and for all the bleeding hearts for isolated sad stories, they never seemed to shed a tear for the woman raped and killed by an illegal, mother who lost her child to an illegal drunk driver, parent of a child OD on fentanyl or impoverished communities losing access to social services because their town/city became overwhelmed with people who don’t speak English and also need those services.
