Cook needs a rebound game this Sunday.

He looks much faster than Rapp. And he is a better tackler. Considering the former all-pro chops, regardless of age thats an upgrade.

I know we opened the season with a first drive touchdown several straight weeks to open the season this year. Can't remember how many off the top of my head. Offense and defense have sort of been the opposite to me. Brady has done well on the first drive, but as soon as his scripted plays are spent he's lost. Defense has been the opposite. They are terrible at first then adjust well.

Cook is absolutely vital to the cuccess of this team and as a help to Josh Allen. He just needs to not try to do superhuman stuff like reaching for the pylon. Keep the ball and go down at the 1/2 yard line. This is what helps your team win. Keep in mind if it were not for Benford’s pick 6 this game statistically was looking like a loss. We all get to celebrate the W but like JA has had to learn, there is a time to be Superman and there a I a time to simply be a super human. If Cook learns the latter quickly he will be a phenomenal back.

Christian Benford is becoming Him on defense. Should be another Defensive Player of the Week. That sack and that pick 6.

I am here... I think he is the most valuable player to his team... but I honestly could care less if he wins it... its the Lombardi he needs... I suspect he may feel similar.

On 1) the tape supports him playing better after the bye, it isn't just the fact that (you are not wrong) teams were just charging all over us. As for passer rating - PFR and PFF have slightly different numbers but per PFF he gave up over 100 passer rating 4 times in the first 6 weeks and only once since. His performance was on a steady upswing post the bye then the last two weeks he has been brilliant. On 3) I agree, but I do think there is a legitimate question that people can ask about whether he is overpaid for the skillset he has. That is different than the "he is invisible" or "he has been a slug" type criticism which isn't fair. He is playing well. What they are expecting of him is not necessarily in line with his skillset.

I'll have to disagree with the last part. I think the AFC #1 seed has a better shot to make the SB than seeds 2 thru 7. Winning two home games is the easiest. As much as we love the Bills, they have not been a special team on the road (yet) and Allen has not been able to do the Superman stuff in the 2025 road games like he has at Highmark. They will need excellent defense and rushing game to win 2-3 playoff road games.

I remember back to back seasons when the Bills were several games into the season before they even punted. One of them was the season we opened with the Rams coming off of their SB win.

The pittsburgh one he lost was just so absurdly fluky its hard to fault it as a "ball security" issue. Diving for the pylon isn't great unless you're superman with massive hands, but its hard to coach that out of a player. The one at the 2 was inexcusable though.

He’s a superstar, game breaking RB and I couldn’t be happier with his play and his contract. I’m glad that we got the fumbles behind us in the regular season as he should be making ball security his priority

At this stage in his career, he's a Dan Reeves, or Marty Schottenheimer(sp). His teams come up, predictably if you're into patterns, short when it counts the most IMO I'm not saying it's 100% on him (luck be a donkey for this franchise) but preparation (vs adjustment) seems his undoing, ultimately That isn't to say a narrative don't change every so often, but if he were to FINALLY win it all, it will be an unprecedented feat, if you go by tenure length vs 1st championship In the meantime, the SAME issues continue to denture the visions/dreams of all who have stake in this franchise, from the most casual fan in Japan, all the way up to the top man in command... I was against giving him the money he was demanding. And the Bills didn't, so I was all good with the signing. And he has been a slam dunk this year, despite the fumbles. He needs to clean that up. He almost lost the game because of that fumble. But he has been awesome overall.
