  2. I’m not one to count the posts of others but I love that you do this for no other reason than it annoys Frankish. Thank you for your service and please carry on.
  3. Every day, it's a-gettin' closer Goin' faster than a roller coaster Love like yours will surely come my way A-hey, a-hey hey
  4. If the NFLPA was worth anything, they would put a stop to that.
  5. Nah. You got fans like myself, never played a snap of football. And I do love me some stats. But I also love the game of football - the chess match, trying to understand the way roles and responsibilities on the defense change depending on how the play develops post snap. And I understand that I'm always going to be struggling to decode stuff that everyone who's played or coached at the college level grew up on. And I don't do fantasy football. That makes a huge difference these days. The other factor is PFF. They do a good job of some things. They don't do a good job with line play - OL or DL - and sometimes with front 7 D - because their metrics can't really account for what the actual assignment was on the play. They're guessing, and it's closer to a guess from someone like me than a guess from someone like @HoofHearted To roll with your analogy: if I were an accountant from Raleigh looking to buy a tractor, the first thing I'd do is find me some farmers to chat up and find out what's important to them in a tractor. Then that's what I'd look for.
  6. Some keep saying how good Rousseau is against the run, is there any real data to see if this is true or not or is this more of an eyball test? We know for a fact that he isn't getting to the QB with only 3 sacks, and barely rushes the QB with only 11 hurries so were paying this guy 20M per season to stop the run but have let in the most run yards in the NFL or at least towards the bottom of the league so what do we actually pay him for or am I missing something here?
  7. I can’t really blame him. He knew the team wasn’t any good back in week 3. Then that Chiefs game happened.
  8. Mendoza looked awful on that 3rd down which ultimately led to a missed FG. Bad feel in the pocket there. The guy is good, just not sure how good for NFL.? He could decide to stay another season at Indiana. Probably would make more $ than being a rookie for a crappy team. Duke scores now up 14-7.
  9. Are you the former "Grandmaster Jimmycracker" from the BBMB?
  10. Murray was never in the league Jackson is in. Murray’s just another bust
  11. Definitely don’t love the idea of knocking Bama out due to a Championship Game but their last month is: Barely escape a bad South Carolina team. Lose to Oklahoma. Beat LSU by 11. Barely escape a bad Auburn team. Blown out by Georgia. (Who Georgia Tech took to the wire last week) They've been pretty meh for weeks now, but the Committee inexplicably moved them up a spot for beating Auburn, so…. If the Committee uses Bama to keep a buffer between ND and Miami in order to avoid the H2H and therefore ND & Bama make it. The college football world might riot.
  12. Very prolific recently in the cesspool
  13. I believe him…………………………………………
  14. I think they are going to try and use Fox in the role that 55 was playing. Hopefully it works even close to as well
  15. That IU RB, Black, is trying to get those legs chugging faster than they can go.
  16. Welcome to another episode of Fun With Flags, starring Sheldon Cooper.
  17. What about Texas? The committee is dying to get the Longhorns in there with Arch hype, and another huge SEC program. Miami might get hosed but they should get in over ND if what happens on the field matters. I still don’t like that a team like Alabama has to play and get beaten to a pulp in a physical game today, while Miami, ND and Texas are just lounging with their feet up eating pizza and watching on TV. Being ranked top 10 and not playing shouldn’t be more beneficial. But i kind of agree Bama should be out.
  18. They got embarrassed.
  19. "We had the ball on the 13" "How do you even remember that?"
  20. I think this year solidified for me most of Josh’s limitations are coaching/management related. i HATE his deep ball, but this sort of critique is a result of lack of appreciation for his situation. josh is beyond as good as you can get as a quarterback, any limitations are nit-picking and not enlightened with reality. Any failure has to be coaching OR management.
