Greg Rousseau has turned out to be a complete slug.
Pasaluki replied to Walking Tall's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think both arguments have merit. Joe B is continously glazing Rousseau for years now and I can't make the case that he doesn't know ball at a higher level than most. At the same time I get the criticism that a defensive end isn't generally the position I associate with non-production. I think fans are smart enough to view a giant nosetackle or a fullback or a longsnapper as having value that is not tied to stats. A nosetackle could do his job and eat up a huge amount of space and not even record a tackle. If Rousseau is truly as dominant at run defense as is claimed he might be worth the money. Baked into that has to be the assumption that these other teams are ripping off these huge runs by running away from this guy. Its possible. -
What WRs have we passed on that have been in elite tier? Ladd has been pretty good, and def wss the better pick... but an outside WR is a premium position to fill. A slot guy isn't, because its fillable. There are plenty of pretty good ones floating around. Its manageable to trade into a position where one's available.. teams will entertain trades for them. Their contracts in FA arent overly prohibitive. Not talking down on these guys. Saying elite QBs, LT, DE and outside WRs are guys you cant get in their prime.

Sorry all, Hamsandwhich couldn’t handle it any longer, he’s no longer with us, he left a note saying, if it was only 57% worse or less, he may have hung on. He left a wife and 3 kids. Thanks stevestojan

He's a Dawgs fan and an IU fan. Pretty nice night.

What did I tell you bro lol I think he just cemented a Heisman and he will be the number one pick if he wants to leave early

They looked very comfortable that’s for sure. The Bills looked like they had no idea what to do with snow falling. It was an embarrassment for the franchise.
-
Just enough to encourage the zebras to keep their flags in their pockets and make it off the field as quickly as possible. Good chance to get a bit physical on Chase and Higgins.
-
This is the kind of insider information I come here for the night before a home game. Nothing like a snow globe game. So much fun.
-
... and the Bills said "we'll activate you to play special teams..." You'd think he'd have become a urologist.

With my meteorology class I'm finishing up, Penn State recommended Pivotal Weather. I just signed up for a subscription, and I can actually read the maps they give. It's really an amazing website. All the word forecast models are available to you. I agree with Simon. About 2.2 inches will fall between 1pm and 4pm. Just enough to make Burrow cry.

Game week thread - Bengals at Bills (flexed to 1pm ET)

When isn’t this the case. I think he’s a tough dude he played thru a lot last year. Just not reliable at all. He’s that guy when it comes to injuries. -

He cried in some post games beaches at Cal last year too lol Dude has a lot of passion -
I just had to look this up. "The University of Georgia had a standout linebacker named Robert “Happy" D*cks, who later became a physician — specifically a neurosurgeon... He was an All-SEC linebacker and played in the 1969 Sugar Bowl against Arkansas..." His unusual name led to one of the most famous sports headlines ever written: "DOGS TO PLAY C*CKS WITH D*CKS OUT" referring to the Georgia Bulldogs vs. South Carolina Gamecocks without Happy in the lineup. The original headline lacked the asterisks since the usage was legit, not profane.

Happy for IU. Its great for CFB to have some fresh blood winning. -
As a Bucks fan I hate to say this, but this game reminded me of one long ago: Urban Meyer was at Florida and had already won a championship, but Nick Saban was gaining steam at Alabama. It was the SEC championship and Saban’s Alabama team was up against Meyer and Florida. And Bama won on a clearly better game plan and execution. You could just FEEL that Saban was smarter and had his team laser focused. This game felt like that. Cignetti was smarter and his team was more focused and executed beautifully. Im not saying IU is going on a Bama run, but things just got VERY interesting in the Big 10. PS This didn’t feel like the Michigan game last year when OSU, in my opinion, beat themselves with a terribly called game: IU out did them at every level.

The Ray Davis-backup running back discussion
BillsShredder83 replied to TBBills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Im very much a 'you are what you show you are' guy. But hes been setup for failure all year. Zero chance to get in any rhythm. No 3rd down targets. When he has gotten a hand off, theres 2mins left, were up 2 scores, 100% sold out vs run. We need to get him some real drives, not for his good, our own. Cook has never seen this type of work load and hes our most important player currently. If we wanna make a run, g2 let off the gas with him. Also a thunder lightning thing would benefit the duo and that OL. We gotta few weeks to get it going and its a worthy investment. -

don’t remind me! Looked like we were gingerly walking on ice the entire game.
