Let’s talk about this Drake “marvelous “ Maye 😅

It does not have the look of a championship roster. Then again none of the AFC teams do, so who knows. Usually a championship roster has a difference maker on the DL and a difference maker in the WR room. I don't think New England has either of those. It's a good WR room. It's a good OL (when healthy). Excellent CBs but that's their only position group I would put in the upper echelon of the NFL. The rest of their roster I would put in an average or lower tier. Maye's play and elite level coaching is why they've ripped off 10 wins in a row. With that win streak Vrabel did in year one what McDermott hasn't done in his entire tenure. It is not a 10 win in a row type of roster, I'm confident saying we've had multiple better rosters than that since 2020. The coaching is the biggest difference from last year to this year. -

If we beat the Bengals, we’re winning the AFC
Koufax replied to No_Matter_What's topic in The Stadium Wall
You know what would be really cool, go 1-0 Sunday against the Bengals while playing good football and getting healthier. And after doing that for a few more weeks, if we play a Wild Card game, go ahead and try to win that. Higher seeds and home games are nice, but playing good football and being as healthy as possible. A lot can always happen as when our 5-5 team beat the Fish to win the division, but almost every scenario is best if we go 1-0 on Sunday and enjoy that process. -

You could say that Maye currently (in the 2025 season) has better stats than Josh, but that is a much different thing than saying that Maye is currently a better quarterback overall (if that is what you meant). I mean, honestly, if you had to choose a quarterback for your team for the playoffs right now, are you really picking Maye over Josh? (We haven't even seen Maye in a playoff game yet to have any reference.) In a redraft, at this precise moment, are you drafting Maye ahead of Allen? Don't get me wrong, the kid is very good, but to say a second-year player is already better than an elite, 9-year vet, MVP quarterback seems not only premature, but a bit crazy. But let's look at their current overall stats anyhow. Current stats (2025 season): Maye: 3,731 scrimmage yards, 25 TDs, 6 INTs, 71.5% completions, 0 4th-quarter comebacks, 1 game-winning drive. QB rate: 111.9 Allen: 3,241 scrimmage yards, 30 TDs, 10 INTs, 69.1% completion, 2 4th-quarter comebacks, 3 game-winning drives. QB rate: 99.8. Also, Maye has played one more game than Josh at the moment. Josh's current game averages for 2025 are 270 scrimmage yards and 2.5 TDs. So, if we add one more game for Josh at his average, we get: 3,511 scrimmage yards, 33 TDs. Still 220 yards less than Maye (about 17 yards less per game), but with 8 more TDs (about .62 more TDs per game than Maye). And if you are taking team record into account, well, if we win while the Pats are on BYE (at home vs. Cincy) and then beat the Pats in the rematch, we are only one game behind them (with three games to go). I do think Maye is a very good Qb and we will be contending with him and the Pats for the next few years at least, but in no way is he currently a better QB than Allen. He may have better stats at the moment (for this year), but a second-year guy still has a lot to learn, a lot of things he hasn't seen yet, etc., etc. -

10 am arrival Best offsite parking recommendations?
CA OC Bills Fan replied to ProcessTruster's topic in The Stadium Wall
I always park on Big Tree Rd. just past (closer to the stadium) California, chose a house two years ago and go to the same one each week. I normally get there by 9 AM but for the TB game I couldn't get there until 11 AM. I don't remember exactly when I left, but I think there were still spots at noon or a bit after. The walk to the stadium is around 3/4 of a mile. I always get out quickly. Hammer lot is farther than the stadium however. Most of the time I like to go to Hammers for a bit, if you're there at 10:30 you have time to walk around to wherever you want to go. -
When I was watching the Steelers on Sunday, my thought was that they just needed another old guy who is past his prime on offense

plus he was a Carolina Panther so that box is checked.

Outside of NONE, that can be the only logical option. -
Lol can he say no?

I stand corrected. Pry should've given Spiller an IQ test before expecting him to learn that system.

No need to get upset. The issues with opioids and all that go with them are well known and well documented. People have different tolerances and the lightning in the bottle worked better for you than others. -

ya , really hope we keep McGovern and Edwards but Cyborg also gets paid in 27

Dude he's not just magically going to turn it on lol I had some hopes for him but he's literally a walking turnover when you target him.. Look at Josh Allen's passer rating targeting him... He's not a friendly qb Target anymore I don't think it's magically turning on

Game week thread - Bengals at Bills (flexed to 1pm ET)
BearNorth replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
My biggest worry this week is can we contain the quartet of Burrow, Chase, Higgins, and Gesicki all of whom have tormented the Bills defense in past contests. Their defense is suspect against both the run and the pass, but our offense has managed to underperform against the likes of the middle of the pack Falcons and Dolphins defenses. -

Game week thread - Bengals at Bills (flexed to 1pm ET)
Ray Stonada replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
2 seed hosts 7 seed, 3 hosts 6, and 4 hosts 5 in the Wildcard Round. Divisional round, 1 hosts the lowest remaining seed, and the second highest seed hosts the third. AFC Championship higher seed hosts lower. Let's say the Bills are the 6 seed. Wildcard round: 2 beats 7, the Bills (6) beats 3, and 4 beats 5. Now the Bills will travel to the 1 seed in the divisional round. If they win they will travel to the winner of the 2 seed versus 4 seed. Given that Buffalo will probably not win the division, it's very unlikely we will host a Playoff game.
