COLTS 11-3. 3. New England drops their hot streak of 8 consecutive win games @Cincinnati and of course, they lose against the Bills at home. NE 10-4. 4. KC wins all their games and are the 3rd Seed. I think that up until that point, it is not impossible to happen, but the bad news is that we pretty much need to stay hot the rest of the way cause even if we drop one game we might end up as far as 5th seed. Many keep looking at how this team did in past years and assuming the same is going to happen this season. Unless the defense starts getting more timely turnovers and their average starting field position improves from the worst in the league, I think this team will struggle to win games.

The GM never replaced him with quality wideouts, and the OC may not be very good at scheming up passing routes. The same stuff we have all discussed ad nauseam here. That shouldnt make Stefon Diggs some sort of anti-hero. He's doing the same act he did here and in Minnesota. It wont run its course there because if they can get someone like AJ Brown in trade or George Pickens in free agency Diggs will be out of there faster than you can say immature jerk.

It should be based on: - How much they impact games - How easy it is to find an equal or lesser replacement Beane has undervalued how much a #1 WR impacts the game. Even though he wasn't getting big stats, Amari Cooper's presence was clearly a factor last season. And we are sorely missing him this year. Beane has also overvalued how easy it would be to get an equal or lesser replacement for Diggs. He keeps spending contracts and using draft picks on guys who are no better than #3 receivers in the NFL (Gabe Davis, Curtis Samuel, Mack Hollins, Elijah Moore, Josh Palmer, Keon Coleman, etc.). Combine all that cap space and picks, and he could easily afford an elite #1 guy. Then he could use Day 3 picks for cheap depth.

I guess there are two different discussions for me. Is the division race over? Of course not. It won't be even with a loss on Sunday. Still 7 games left. Though, can't afford a 5th loss. Because that may make that December 14h game in Foxborough not as important. Winning a SB? I just don't see it happening. And frankly, that's the only thing we care about. If the Bills win the division and do not make it to the SB, it's still another year wasted. Nobody will care about winning the division.

What don't you get that it wasn't just one player! Look at the injury list and all those injuries and they matter. Seven or eight starters our or injured and think I missed Michael Hoechet that had a huge impact in the game he played. It all adds up to a devastating causation. A big reason as to why a 2-7 team beat Buffalo 30-13.
