  2. Because they think that if everyone lived/thought like they do, the world would be perfect.
  3. I'll settle for nothing less than a 64 team bracket!
  4. I just don't think it makes sense for him to accumulate fines by missing mandatory minicamp, when it doesn't make it any more likely that we'll extend him. I expected him not to be there though so still a pleasant surprise. We'll see if he actually practices with the team, it could be a planned hold-in just to avoid the fines.
  5. This is his best bet imo. show up, have a seat at the table, negotiate and get a pay raise a season early while your stock is highest it’ll be. Not showing up does nothing but create division. Even if he doesn’t participate, being there is a good negotiating tactic if he is serious about getting paid this summer
  6. Since 2020 it's the same QB's and HC's that have been leading the 4 legit SB contenders in the AFC. Obviously. Drawing some arbitrary line 3 years ago.........as if anything has significantly changed in these rounds.......is simply illogical. But let's look at those last 3 seasons in the divisional and championship round where you claim "the bottom line is the offense is good enough" but the defense requires them to score "30+ points" to win. Offense: 22.5 points scored per game Defense 27.5 allowed..........including only 1 of 4 games over 30 points allowed. We all know why McBeane loaded up on defense. Not the first time Beane has thrown a surprising amount of money at a bunch of cold-product defensive free agents and fans have just assumed they would be better than they were when their prior team released them outright or let them walk. And if Bosa and Hoecht and Ogunjobi never play a down and Hairston, Sanders and Jackson make little-to-no impact as rookies......like Bishop and Carter the year prior.....the Bills will probably be RIGHT BACK in the divisional round against one of those other 3 stud QB's. And it's still anyone's guess which side of the ball will be called upon to make a key play close out that/those game(s).

  8. He’s not a team player, we’ve already been over this with Diggs, this never ends well..
  9. WTF are you babbling on about?
  10. Why are leftists so miserable and nasty? What went wrong in their lives that made them so f’n bitter and stupid?
  11. 6 or 7, two good matchup teams
  12. Sometimes thats true. She knows her stuff and is probably guessing that if they were interested in him before the draft they may still be interested at the right price.
  13. Assuming this is true, I love when sports reporters (schefter in this case) look stupid
  14. If they believed he was a liability and wasn't ready, they wouldn't have spent a 1st on him. Like any young player, he's going to take his lumps and have to get up to speed with the NFL game. But he has to play to do that. Which won't happen if we sign Alexander to put alongside Benford. Boundary CB isn't a rotational spot like DL. Like we did when we Drafted Elam in Round 1, we took Strong in the 6th as insurance. And signed Tre White as vet insurance for both of them. They've got fallback plans in the event Hairston doesn't look ready. But they aren't just going to relegate him to the bench before they so much as evaluate him in the Pre-Season and Training Camp after spending a 1st on him. It's really simple, if they wanted Alexander to start (which again, he'll have to be given or he won't sign here) they'd have made the move for him and not Drafted Hairston in Round 1, on top of the other things they did. They decided not to deal for him and used the 1st on Hairston instead, when the Draft compensation for Alexander would have been much less than what we spent on Hairston. Now he's a Free Agent. Great. It doesn't change the fact that they already moved on from that idea and filled his potential spot. And on top of all of the other things, we have 2m to our name right now. We need to come up with a fair amount of money just to sign our Draft Picks and then later to pay the Practice Squad, go from the Top 51 cap figure to 53, and have spending money for the season. Adding a Jaire Alexander contract on top of that would be a tall task.
  15. This account usually has good info so I take this as a good sign.
  16. Your welfare isn’t paying them.
  17. Solved by deporting them to the middle of the Pacific.
  18. ah this is where I disagree because I think Hairston needs to get functionally stronger before he should become an every down starter. He's going to be a liability in the run game, he's going to struggle taking on WR blockers....he just needs to get stronger, and more durability that goes with it. Ideally, he's playing both inside/out (he's excellent in Zone) on passing downs.
  19. There's a reason for that. There's two Starters on the Boundary and one starter in the Nickel. Teams don't have legitimate star quality caliber 4th CB's bc no one like Alexander is signing to be a Backup and you don't spend a 1st Round Pick on a guy to be a Backup before you even get to Training Camp.
  20. I bet the Bills might have the least sacks in the league...oh wait nevermind Agree on the OL.....which helps bring out Cook's best traits and allows him to make explosive plays.....but another RB will also do well in this offense. All in all, knowing you should not pay everyone what their market is I am good letting Cook play out this year and drafting another guy on day 2 or 3 next year.
