But crippling injuries continue while JA17 continues head scratching plays that lead to punts. Ed Oliver -who is playing at a Pro Bowl level is now out and maybe for the season..🤦‍♂️ We refurbished the D last week very well then spent the week trying to fix the O. While Josh struggled a bit, facing single high safety 75% of the time, the game will be remembered for the day James Cook became a true Superstar. 218 yards rushing and 2 TDs! More incredible, he didn’t catch a single pass and only had 2 plays in the 4th quarter! It may be too soon to say, but there’s a real chance our Defense can become great quickly! My idea is that we should run 3TDs in the no huddle(!). Mix running Cook with play action to Kincaid and Shakir. Josh runs when he likes. If they blitz (which they do), Cook is the outlet and he gets the ball in space. Shakir the outlet on the weak side.
