  1. Past hour
  2. Apparently there is some trouble with the Tight ends in the locker room after the game.
  3. If we want to think of pit as a wildcard team right now they are a game and two conference losses ahead of the chiefs too Ravens will probably jump from out of contention to division winner by the end of the season knocking pit into the wildcard mix
  4. 8, 7, 58 are all paid players who just suck. Our dts aren't healthy either, but our second line d is abysmal. Williams and Thompson should be in there as much as they can be
  5. Murdering our ability to throw to the X though, amiright
  6. Watched the 4th quarter of the Broncos / Chefs game. This is exactly what Payton called to counter Spagnola's aggressive calls and it was very effective.
  7. All i know is we cannot play in Baltimore in January. Bills will not win there. Whatever scenario we need to avoid that road trip is what i’m rooting for.
  8. Your gonna feel differently in the playoffs- we have seen that movie Defense absolutely matters in the playoffs
  9. It's what I get for trusting a google search! LOL my bad!
  10. When you’re giving up 200 yards a game teams ain’t gonna pass much. Sadly the passing D isn’t there when they force 3rd and long
  11. Right with TJ Sanders setting the edge. Crazy. Not sure what McD is supposed to do at this point, especially if Bosa is going to be out or limited with the arm.
  12. I had the Blue Active PPO, yup gone
  13. I just don't know if Brady can call a game where he adjusts to what defenses are doing to disrupt the Bills offensive flow. His stubbornness to run the ball when it isn't working and his predictable play calling is an issue. Pair that with receivers having separation issues getting open is a tough climb to overcome. Its not just Brady. This defense still looks like a train wreck against the run and 3rd and long situations. This team is capable of catching lightning in a bottle and has proven they can beat playoff caliber teams. But if they have to go on the road playing 3 games to get to the SB, oof... that's a tough task.
  14. People act like he's a murderer or something. He's what 22?
  15. If we got healthy I feel like this defense might actually be able to play some pass defense and then if we got a negative play here or there and puts teams in longer yardage on 3rd down we might get off the field. I'm not sure a McDermott/Beane defense is ever going to be great against the run. The combination of all 3tech DT's and small LB's is ripe for getting moved by any decent running team. We play defense like the Manning era Colts. Try to get a lead and force them to throw and make mistakes.
  16. Bills currently have the best odds in the AFC of going to the Superbowl. Not because this is our best team in the last several years, but because nobody else is that good either and we have the highest ceiling of the teams likely to make the playoffs. While we can all see an early out as possible, all the other teams look at what we are capable of and just hope that we don't put together a complete game against them. This is the same reason that the chiefs would also be a Superbowl contender if they squeak in. Good teams have bad games, bad stretches, and bad seasons. All that matters is what happens in week 19, and the Bills have as good a shot as anyone.
  17. I've stopped paying attention to those folks who tie everything to QB play. To me it means that's all they understand about football. Having said that, Josh made a few throws that were unbelievably bad....And, some plays that were awesome! You can be both good and bad.
  18. Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Jalen Ramsey told reporters on Sunday that Bengals star wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase spit on him during the second half of his team's win over Cincinnati, which led to an ensuing altercation that resulted in Ramsey's ejection. https://www.nfl.com/news/steelers-jalen-ramsey-says-ja-marr-chase-spit-on-him-bengals-wr-denies-accusation Video shows that Chase DID spit
  19. The issue is we kept designing a defense and personnel that would beat Kansas City. Lighter guys that can move. Over time the NFL saw the trend of lighter LBers, not just with the Bills either. The days of a true space eater and run thumping LBers are gone. Which over time has led to more ground game. FBs are starting to make a comeback. Teams playing 2-3 TEs. We just don't have guys that are adapt at stopping the run.
  20. I just don't think it does improve. I really don't. This just is what it is. Undersized LB's who aren't what we thought they were (Bernard) or aren't what they used to be (Milano). DT's that are more suited for getting up field than stout run stuffers. No Oliver. No Hoecht (who's injection really revolutionized our pass rush). And on top of all of that, this is the ole' "bend but don't break" (vomit) Defense. They just don't focus enough on the run. The soft zone is easy to find holes in. That's simply not going to change while McDermott's here. All you can hope for is guys to play with their hair on fire when it matters. But I just don't see much changing. Too many spots where guys just aren't good enough and the scheme is just broken.
  21. And us old timers remember how some folks wanted to bench Joe Ferguson for Gary Marangi!
  22. Chargers might. Not Denver. They’re too far ahead.
  23. Watched them hash it out on the sideline (maybe after the next drive?)...which was mostly Dion up in Edwards' face and Edwards at first pushing a palm into Dion's shoulder to keep distance, repeatedly at first until Spencer Brown or someone else seemingly convincing Edwards to drop the hand and just let Dion vent it out. Was not nothing. I didn't hear anything bad and definitely didn't hear anything "thug" ish. Let's just retire that word. He wasn't groveling for media or fan forgiveness, for sure, but he was trying to give matter of fact answers that didn't deny his culpability. Everybody eats?? **ducks for cover
  24. Keon has not helped himself- but to be fair he was drafted by the Bills and put in a spot that doesn’t match his skills This is 100% a bad hire - no way no how was it a good idea in the first place to draft him. This is more continued lack of talent evaluation
  25. They might need help at 10 even imo…they’re in really bad tiebreaker position. I think the 7 seed is gonna win 10 and if multiple win 10 the chiefs aren’t making it
