I don't necessarily mind that a lot of the defensive line got hurt this year because when it was healthy it did look like an awesome super bowl level defensive line when we saw it for a whole 2 qtrs vs Carolina. And it was still awesome vs KC without Oliver. My problem was with Brandon beane knowing this before the trade deadline and not adding a major piece on the defensive line.... My only guess is he's hoping TJ Sanders can replace Oliver.... There is something of a silver lining because TJ Sanders before that knee injury from the reports I was reading in training camp was borderline dominant. And I think in one of the preseason games he hurt his knee. And you can tell when he was playing that he was favoring a little bit.... Joe buscaglia said that he was by far the most impressive rookie and could start right away back in training camp.... So if Bosa gets fully back with his wrist and TJ Sanders is the real deal as an interior pass rusher.... Maybe we got something. Add in a healthy Oliver for the playoffs ( fingers crossed) So we'll see As much as ppl get on Beane, this recent class looks extremely promising. Landon Jackson was the only iffy pick that didn't show anything but his traits are extremely high so I understand the pick
