One possible explanation may be that previously, honestly believed in the “if you’re rich and famous you can do what you want” philosophy which I’ve heard from someone before. A psycho person could believe that and think that nothing would ever stick to them, like Teflon Don. Projection onto their political opponents becomes the strategy. Then at some later time, some attorney knocked some sense into their brain and they realized that sexually assaulting young girls is considered socially unacceptable so the stop the release strategy is adopted. People with twisted brains do things the rest of us would consider illogical.

I agree, we had some duds, but the offense was dominant when it clicked. My concern in 2025 is that James Cook needs to perform well for the offense to work. We don’t have receivers for Allen to take over a game. Unfortunately you might need that in the playoffs. We don’t have Diggs, Beasley, or even John Brown and Emmanuel Sanders. Those guys made a huge difference.

Well I must say watching the Pats/Bucs rewind was frustrating…mostly because it looked like one I thought the Bucs should have gotten. Here are the two big Henderson runs. I posted them because of the likeness to some of what we do. Pretty awful secondary tackling and angles allowing the big scores (sounds familiar). The first is interesting because it’s out of 11 personnel, but with Mac Hollins as a wing, so we will call this 11 BIG. It’s a duo right at ya and the corner and safety just blow it here. The game sealing score was a full on student body left, outside/toss zone with a lead blocker. The edge was just completely lost and it was off to the races with guys taking poor angles trying to come up and get a stop for minimal gain. These are both concepts the Bills run, just evidence that if we can get Cook to the second level…look out! PS #8 on the Bucs is trash. Run at him all game.

It sounds like he’s a real mixed bag. Players here seemed to like him but when you are winning…. that article was so messy that I don’t doubt he had issues but of what scope who knows. Having the preview/header lead with that he exploded and threatened Kafka then to in the next paragraph elaborate that it was threatening to take over playcalling was bush league. Likewise citing that he “gave a death stare” to a coordinator on the sideline once a few years ago. no doubt he had blow ups but if a dirty look during a game 3-4 years ago was in the top ten list it all seems forced to create a narrative coming from the organization. he sucked in the role, and losers end up with their story told by others.
