  1. Past hour
  2. Well I guess when Diggs starting dating her a baby was in the "Cardi's" 😉
  3. Um... that didn't happen. It actually would be newsworthy if he did "shine." Maybe you should scroll up a bit & read the thread.
  4. As I said earlier, we are coming in from Indiana. We think it would be reasonable to think we could get an Uber ride to hammers lot Saturday evening and Sunday. What about an Uber on Saturday evening and after the game and traffic on Sunday back to our hotel???🤷‍♂️
  5. If Josh Allen was as surefire as you thought he would have went number one overall He dropped to seven because of question marks ... To think there's never been supremely gifted and smart players who did not reach their peak is not true Plenty of hard-working physically gifted players never reach their full potential... In Fact in the NFL it's extremely rare for a player to reach their full potential Again this doesn't mean Josh Allen would be terrible on other teams... To think he is the best player in the world on the bears or Panthers or Jets is far-fetched There is a reason the Packers have went from farve to Rogers to Jordan love.. it's because organizations have a big part in developing a quarterback... Sitting on the bench for years is the best way to groom a quarterback , always has been... Even mahomes got to sit for a year Any quarterback getting drafted in the top 10 has MVP potential.. it's about how they are developed from 22 to 26 in those formative years Obviously Sam darnold would have been a lot better off in Buffalo.. MVP no, do I think we are still better than the Jets dolphins and Patriots? Yes Do I think Josh Allen is an MVP with the Jets no.. do I think hes good , yea There's a difference between being good or really good.. and the best in the world... Which always takes circumstances.. internal and external.. players can only control so much and rely on other people
  6. Do you believe Sam Darnold would have ended up the MVP if he had been drafted to Buffalo? Not a gotcha question, I'm genuinely curious what you think.
  7. You don't?
  8. Red Zone. All Sunday, every Sunday (during Football season)
  9. Poyer and Hyde were Whaley. Brown and Bease were Beane’s first free agent class, and definitely still among his best pickups.
  10. They did sign Shaq Thompson FWIW. They did draft 3 DBs: Hairston, Hancock, and Strong. While it's likely one will eventually move to safety, they all have been primarily cornerbacks in college. That doesn't mean they won't add to the position group again but it's nowhere near the need that LB is. Out of curiosity, I've often wondered if you're a Penn State alum or a fan? I think both Hancock and Strong were drafted with the possibility of being Taron replacements... I think the Bills have projected that need but I agree with @PaattMaann that they probably should have done more at linebacker. To be fair, Tua's stating the obvious. I understand the Dolfan's competitive irritation but there's something to be said for simple truth telling. I think mostly they're just pissed off and need somebody to burn. You're right. Micah's definitely not unathletic. There are plenty of guys who have elite measurables who aren't actually athletic... they don't have the feel for the game and to me that's the distinction. Taylor Mays was a 6'2" 230 lb safety who ran a 4.4 forty. His 10 yard split, vertical, broad, and Wonderlic were all elite but he ended up starting a total of 16 games over 6 NFL seasons before going to the CFL. He was a clunky athlete with no feel for the game and there are countless other examples of guys who measure better than they play... and visa versa.
  11. This isn't how these things are graded though. Every top end WR is going to look cheap on a per catch basis because of the volume difference. And all teams have these exact same mathematical discrepancies in this regard.
  12. As much as I despised Brady as a player, I have lost all my hate for him, and actually now really like the guy. i see no issue with this, and Florio is getting really annoying about it. I wish florio had this same passion during spygate and deflategate.
  13. Allen was a green prospect. HE needed to develop, which he largely did on his own. Your credit for culture and environment is only apparent after it was largely given a chance to develop based on Allen being elite. No QB, no culture, no time for process. All this stuff can matter with a B talent. Give a B QB a great system and talent and it can make a difference vs a team who likely just picked top 5. It just doesn't matter when you're dealing with a Josh Allen level talent. Somebody who is that determined, that intelligent, and that self aware. The game has never failed a Josh Allen level player because the situation was just so bad it ruined the player. Yes, we can agree to disagree
  14. This is a giant nothing burger if you ask me. Just my 2 cents
  15. Yes, I am the Voice of Reason! Luigi 1st Degree Murder charge dropped? Outrageous! Sounds like First Degree Murder to me!! I was scared!!! That's terrorism!!!! Liberal something something!!!! Me: umm, maybe we should read the law?
  16. There was plenty of people after one in two years on this own website who were not sold on Josh Allen Go back to the end of his second year and there was still plenty of people not 100% sold on Josh as the future of our team in this site lol This is not as cut and dry as we just lucked into the best player in the world.. Buffalo Bills did have to help develop him To think Josh Allen is the best player in the world on 31 other teams is honestly kind of crazy.. he might be on a couple teams.. on 24 other teams he's not the best player in the world because they would not have developed him correctly We can agree to disagree but it's crazy to think that if player x starts his career at spot y he's exactly the same
  17. Don't jinx us. You all just love poking the football gods...
  18. Who was the QB that these franchises ruined? Who did we ruin during the drought? Somebody that would have done something if McD was around 15 years ag with our culture? The comment about coaches makes no sense. Every position on earth has a leadership role people report to that provides basic structure and strategy. Every sport has a coach and even if you're elite in that role in Football, you quickly show your worth without your star QB. Meanwhile that QB leaves and just keeps on going. Calling out Fields or Lawrence as an example of guys to justify your point makes no sense. You have to have mental make up to be successful. By your definition we can blame the Raiders for ruining Jamarcus Russell or maybe Russell is the one that couldn't hack it. This run starts and ends with Allen. It is that simple. Once his time is done we will go back to the same pool of mediocre franchises searching for a QB that we can one day credit our coach for "grooming".
  19. Channel 7 (WKBW) is broadcasting the game so you can watch it via antenna or cable.
  20. That is beat the heck out of us has extremely to do with the pedestal Goodell and the NFL have placed him on. I dislike Brady deeply, but it's Goodell who's nothing but a spineless ball washer (owners).
  21. The Jets have not developed a franchise quarterback in 60 years The bills developed Joe Ferguson Jim Kelly and now Josh Allen .. that's three times as many quarterbacks who played for a decade The bears have not developed a franchise quarterback in 60 years... They traded for Cutler and never developed him more Remember Sam darnold got drafted ahead of Josh.. he has tons of talent and a good work ethic.. he is athletic he is accurate he was considered a top notch prospect ... And he went to Palmer's quarterback school too and works hard.. the difference was he was on the Jets.. and Baker was on the browns... Now does Josh have more talent than Sam? Yes, but Sam was much more polished.. and Josh needed to get polished.. which takes a team, it always has Josh Allen did not go to the bills organization which was in futile for 17 years.. he had McDermott right out the gate who is calm and level-headed and has a plan and allows players to grow... We know that now.. 8 years ago nobody knew what kind of long-term coach McDermott would be when it comes to player development McDermott built a culture which is a great influence on everybody on the team.. from Josh Allen to the lowest guy on the practice squad... Everybody respects everybody at one Bills drive from the coaches to the chefs to the mail guy that Josh Allen shouted out.. that is the culture that breeds winning and development Kurt Warner is a Hall of Famer and nobody can tell me he would be the same guy if he didn't go to the Rams... In fact most of his career is not that great... But with the right coaching and team around him he was an MVP Yes I 100% Believe Josh Allen if he got drafted by the Jets is not winning six straight AFC East titles because they are a dumpster fire... He could still be good.. he certainly doesn't become the cerebral, non turnover machine we have now He certainly is not an MVP.. that's literally taking credit away from everybody in the bills organization who has helped build him up Again if they didn't need coaches to make them better.. they wouldn't hire coaches... If Josh didn't think going to Palmer would help.. he wouldn't go to Palmer... McDermott has had a plan since day one and he's executed it... This site was filled with plenty of people who still were not sold on Allen one and two years in... There were plenty of people here Look at guys like Justin fields and Trevor Lawrence.. insane talent... to just say we lucked into the best football player of all time is kind of Silly... He had to be molded.. and he took the coaching and he became the best player in the world
  22. I am willing to admit that I am an old guy but still working at being able to maintain a 3 minute mile on a varied course bike route. I am close at about 3:15/mile for 10 miles. I try to do about 10-15 miles/day but work and other stuff can interfere.
  23. Multiple officers involved in Pennsylvania shooting In York County At least two people are in serious condition after a shooting involving multiple law enforcement officers in York County, Pennsylvania on Wednesday. Gov. Josh Shapiro confirmed he was on his way to the shooting. He said he was briefed and asked those in the area to follow the directions of local law enforcement and Pennsylvania State Police. WellSpan York Hospital confirmed to Fox News it was treating two people related to the incident, but did not specify who the people are, saying only that they are in serious condition. "Enhanced security protocols are in place at the hospital," it added. The Consulate of Mexico in Philadelphia posted on X shortly after the incident, noting the Mexican community is "advised to follow official instructions." "The Consulate is monitoring the incident that occurred this afternoon in North Codorus Township, Pennsylvania," the consulate wrote in the post. "The Mexican community is advised to follow official instructions." https://www.foxnews.com/us/multiple-officers-involved-pennsylvania-shooting-governor-rushes-york-county-scene Ummm isn't this the U.S. ??
  24. I was thinking during the first couple games, attitudinally, who does Hawes remind me of and I'd have to say Incognito. Violent through the whistle and maybe a little beyond, then he's just walking back to the huddle. On the occasion the opponent takes exception and comes back at him, Hawes is ignoring him like just another buzzing fly.
