  3. The analytics aint perfect for sure and the eye test still matters. but with this much data pointing one way you sorta need to say what is analytics missing. For example with Josh, everyone predicted he would bust because of completion % in college, but what was missing was that Josh didnt have all the reps (likely had like 10k less throws than his peers) that players in the historical data set did. I dont think its terrible to question his ability in man as that has come along lately and he doesnt come off as an athletic freak (good RAS of 8.14, but poor agility). I think the all 22 would be telling as he is every bit the technician that Tre was/is but better explosion.
  4. The WNBA has lost money every single season they have been in existence lol. 28 straight years of not turning a profit. That has never happened before and without the NBA, they would have been closed down after year 2. AI is building and investing for the future. Amazon was also losing money when they started because they were investing in the future. Open AI lost $5 billion last year. The WNBA lost $40 million. Which business would you invest in?
  5. Smith was a very niche role player but very good in that hyper specific role. I think people just forget that you do need these types on the roster.
  6. If no extension is in place, the hold out/in will end as soon as game planning starts for week 1
  7. People always care about the economy, who ever said otherwise? And the only way people are now focusing on Epstein is if everything else is so good they can move down the list to a topic that has existed for a decade but no one spent any time on it during Biden.
  8. in a front seat too! If that car has air bags and they are deployed, it could kill his kids.
  9. It’s a player in a contract situation, they never win the court of public opinion. Just read through the Cook threads now-so many people diminishing his value, calling him selfish, overrated, etc
  10. That is a lot of money to lose. One could call them a joke in that regard. However, they are building a brand, successfully, in many respects. Losing money is not the only metric for a business, btw. Open AI lost $5 billion last year, 100x more than WNBA No comment on "vile treatment"
  11. Players will just go into the blue medical tent to get their snootful before heading back onto the field. Will the NFL have officials in the tent or on the sidelines to prevent this ?
  12. You actively root against interests that help everyday Americans. You side with criminals and illegals over actual citizens.
  13. I've watched like the condensed highlights of it. It just looked like a very sort of raw physical game (especially with the weather that day) to which the likes we don't see anymore. Both quarterbacks looked pretty sloppy that day.
  14. I think Arch has a really good year with some stuff to grow on.. and I think he rips up 2026 potentially winning a Heisman
  15. I'm glad it wasn't yesterday, and really hoping all the defensive additions, finally show up in the playoffs. I will admit, that I probably do magnify things. In the Cincy blowout, the passing TD's looked too easy, and maybe I'm incorrectly assigning Benford blame. Right now, I have deep trust issues with our defense. Milano although older, has proven to be a star. Tre pre-injury, I would say was also a star. Outside of that, just a bunch of guys to me. Fair enough. I will gladly be wrong on this.
  16. 5 receptions 61 yards and a TD was his playoff line. Regardless if it was the Hamlin game, you made the comment that Benford struggled against him. He may or may have the next 3 quarters so you can't make any determination or even know the coverage called on that play. For reference vs the Broncos last year, Chase went https://www.statmuse.com/nfl/ask?q=ja'marr+chase+game+log+vs+broncos 9 for 102 yards
  17. My guess is either a contract gets done or if it doesn't he is back in week 1. I don't think he will miss any games. He needs to come to terms that he is not the best running back in the league. He is not even the second best running back in the league. Probably not even the third. He isn't worth 15mil.
  18. It rained the entire day leading up until right before game time.
  19. well i'm glad we have that answered
  20. Unfortunately, this public spectacle of cornering Beane for a big payday is fool hardy. IF Bean caves to Cook's demands it will only set a very bad example to the rest of the team. Bean would be a fool to allow that to happen, even if he was tempted just to keep Cook on the team. PLUS, once Cook gets his payday, it will only be a year or so before he starts threatening to hold out/in for an even bigger payday. That is why you "don't negotiate with hostage takers". OMHO
  21. Makes sense. The site I looked at had Klubnik at 6'2 209. Probably hadnt been updated since his 1st year,
  22. As kid I remember my Dad taking six kids (7 bodies in there) for ice cream in a VW bug….🤪
  23. I think most of the arguments against Cook, the 'let him walk' group, misses this fundamental point. This is a much different offense last year without Cook, and to me much less likely Josh wins the MVP. They had a undermanned defense, in transition, and without the dynamic offense, the superb balance--first time ever a team scores 30 rushing and passing TDS in a season--hard to imagine the Bills being a legitimate contender, making the championship game. (And a little more Cook that day, despite the significant defensive injuries, and these are likely moot questions..) This year it will take the defense some time to improve, jell, so that dynamic run/pass offense will be vital again. And the same can be said for games in January and February, against the best teams in the league. That balance was why 3/4 of the championship teams were playing that day, what separated them from the other teams. And without that, the Chiefs were exposed two weeks later. That balance makes Josh Allen and this offense great. And it will help to make the young defense great too. Complimentary football, all the way around. And Cook is a vital part of that.
