There is no point that us as fans have to have an answer. He made it up. It was discussion for the sake of discussion. Our opinion means nothing. Only Terry’s opinion matters…..and that’s the biggest problem. That guy hiring the right guy. i believe we’ll have a chance to win a SB with McD. I believe there’s a good chance that Terry ****s up and hires the wrong guys that will give us zero chance. if you are already of the opinion that McDermott as HC gives us zero chance to win a SB, so be it. That’s how you feel and nothing will change your mind. I’m good with that. Not trying to change anyone’s mind with something that cannot be proven. I just see myself as an MCD apologist, but some may disagree. I just don’t pretend to know things that I cannot know and have an open mind.

yeah i don't get feelings over individual bills staff or players tbh fred jackson was one of my all time favorite bills and when he left and gave that interview talking ***** about whaley of all people i was like you know what ***** fred jackson 😂😂 strictly laundry for me. like allen is legit my favorite player of all time and i would ship him in a heartbeat if i thought it would get us a SB

That team needs targets downfield for that offense. He can open up their playbook. Let's hope he can latch on and have some great games against everyone but the Bills

10 wins will get buffalo in. The 4 -10 seeds play each other. It's why buffalo has a 91% chance to make the playoffs even tho they're currently the 7 seed. If buffalo just beats the jets and browns theyll be in. If they beat Cincinnati, the playoff odds for the bills jumps to 95% I want KC out.

Its OK for the Bills to be a run-first team
Gregg replied to First Round Bust's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't expect they can do that every week. If teams stop Cook, then the Bills are in trouble. Unfortunately, the issues the Bills have will have to be fixed in the offseason which doesn't help this season. -

Yeah youre talking about the general public with no vested interest in the team. Anybody posting on an obscure message board about this team wouldn't hate a 'boring' SB win lol Your take is appropriate on a BillsMafia FB group lol -

I love the idea of being a "run first" team (at least in concept) with a generational talent at QB like JA. This gives an offense and OC the ability to dictate whatever they want to any opposing defense with equal efficacy. When you have a RB/RBs and O line that can consistently get you over 100 yds and a QB that can throw up 300 any given Sunday, that is a deadly combo. ATM, I have my doubts we have the horses at WR and the OC with the creativity to carry it out. -
Bosa and Thompson have been solid additions. I'd like to see them stick around.

Great post, Andy. Even as someone who wants McD replaced, I would be bummed. Bummed that even though he broke the drought and rebuilt the culture and organization, his main lasting legacy will be "13 seconds" and the guy who couldnt even get to a Super Bowl with Josh Allen at QB. That honestly makes me sad for him. I wish it would be different, and commented as much in the "Haters" thread. To your point about the candidates, while I dont want a mediocre retread like the ones youve named, I would be willing to take a big risk on an up and coming first-timer like Clint Kubiak.

I'm rooting for whatever scenario makes it less likely for us to play in Houston for Wild Card Weekend.

Sure. Anyone would. You think DC's will just let this happen lol Happen 4xs in a row. Each week seeing new wrinkles, from progressively better talent & coaching? Each with the ability to steal working ideas from the last teams effort? All while we have no ability to execute 50% of the playbook? With an OC that has no ability or history of adding to the playbook? Their ceiling is 2nd rd exit. Floor is as bad as ones imagination. -

I hear ya, @dcinmuncie. I personally thought that when McDaniels reneged on the Colts his shots at HC were up. But what do either of us know, because he got serious looks from Cleveland and then hired by Vegas. So he seems to have the "golden key" as a sales dude. I suspect you're correct that OC is where he should stay, but I don't know I can say that I understand what governs who does or does not get shots. -

I can relate to a lot of things here and generally agree. This has been the bills identity under Brady since the middle of 2023. Will they get to the Superbowl? For me it's whether the bills defense vs the chiefs & Steelers shows up in January. It's always been that for me. -

Run first sounds fine until it isnt, then youre punting early and watching good teams shut it down and score. I'd prefer a pass first and run later, so you get comfortable leads first -

The ends justify the means. Had it not been that amazing three minute span by Bosa and Benford to open the second half, that score would have been much closer regardless of the time of possession or rush yards. Ultimately, I would have been content with the win, but if not for the defense we are having an entirely different conversation about the offense this week IMO. I liken it to people that watch MLB games for the deep balls or the NHL for the fights. People want to see the excitement. They want that 80 yard TD pass more than the 10 play 80 yard 7 minute long drive. We live in clip in a world where a 20 second clip on Twitter is what people want. Attention spans aren't long enough these days. -

Stroud's rookie year is the only one of those that is remotely comparable to Maye this year, and there were a lot of analytics that showed Stroud was getting away with a good amount of turnover luck and that sort of thing. I don't know what to tell people that are still trying to dismiss what Maye has done this year. He and Vrabel/McDaniels are going to be a problem for the next decade. The scary thing is they have a ton of cap space next year so what we're seeing this season is the floor. Don't be surprised if they add AJ Brown or a similar talent. They are probably overachieving this year relative to their talent, but that's what great coaching gets you and the talent is only going to get better. -
