Pegula wasnt even the owner of the Bills when either of these things happened. Its the reason Marrone was able to opt out of his contract, was ownership change. -

Now that the NYT is on the story I think it’s ok for the board’s lefty members to weigh in. Anyone? -

Should the league change how it schedules games?
YodaMan79 replied to McMuffin's topic in The Stadium Wall
Just thinking out loud here, so don’t come in too hot. The demands on players’ bodies are already pretty intense. What about an 18-game schedule with 55–58 game-day active spots, where each player can only suit up for 16 or 17 games, plus two bye weeks? The goal is simple: get the best product and the healthiest players on the field when the playoffs roll around. Teams with real depth and smart roster management would actually get rewarded. And honestly, it’d be fun to see a backup QB have to start a game or two by design, bring a little baseball-style strategy and matchup philosophy into the mix. Without overthinking it, this feels like a win for everyone: players get more rest and recovery, owners get their 18th game, and fans get a better on-field product and two extra weeks of the season. Fire away and let me know where I have a blind spot. -

What team in the league has been better in December the last 5 years? It's a short list, if there even is a list. We're winning the AFC East.

I imagine he was. That sideline juggle catch, he landed on the point of his bent elbow with full body weight. I'm not making excuses for him but this injury is likely legit. -
Brown, Dawkins, others out for Sunday
TheyCallMeAndy replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
IF Grable gets the start tomorrow, that will be very interesting. The kid has SO much hype every summer. If he shows out at RT, and maybe gets a few opportunities, a switch up on the OL could happen this summer. LT Spencer Brown: He has lined up at LT every time we sit everyone with a lead. He's a 10/10 athlete and our best OL, put that level of talent on Josh's blindside LG Dion Dawkins: I remember scouting reports saying he may be a better OG. He will be 32 next season. This season, he looks to have a little athletic decline, a move to OG could help hide that. C Connor McGovern RG Big Cy Torrance RT Ty Grable: Coaches seem to love him, injuries have kept him off the field. It may not be that dramatic. Maybe Spence and Dion flop sides. -

Back to how our conversation started, with you insinuating that in order to be lucky, you must be bold. The chiefs weren’t bold. They were just lucky to avoid injuries to key players. the 2 seasons in which they suffered key injuries, they didn’t win the SB. The OL vs Tampa and Rice vs Philly. Their last 2 Lombardis were won in seasons where they were anything but bold….yet lucky. so please don’t tell me that we aren’t lucky because we aren’t bold enough. If you said that we don’t win super bowls because we aren’t bold enough, that could be true. But that has nothing to do with a team being lucky or not. -
Well, I’ve been to St Peter’s square a couple of times. There were many poor and non Italians there ( some clearly immigrants). both times, Pope John Paul was welcoming and acknowledged several foreign groups. Catholic means universal after all. The Swiss guard were almost invisible and certainly not threatening.

I was at a friend’s today and he was telling me about a car guy he just met. He went to his showroom and saw Bentley's and Lamborghini’s. The guy told him a lot of his clients were professional athletes (especially MLB) and rappers. He had some college players with NIL money, and he’s just started getting some high school kids who are cashing in. It’s a brave new world out there.
