  1. Past hour
  2. I was having a brain fart. For some reason I had this year as his 4th. Nothing to see here...carry on...
  3. If I’m an NFL team, I’d be pretty open to moving a haul to go get Mendoza at 1. He’s more mobile than I thought. Can take a hit. Throws a nice ball. And while he’s getting mocked by the “too cool” crowd for his postgame, if I’m a HC/GM, I know that dude is going to be a great face of my organization and I don’t have to worry about him in terms of leadership or off the field stuff.
  4. He's missed games, played hurt and yet still is tied for the lead in receiving TDs, 2nd in receiving yards and third in receptions. His success rate and catch percentage is very high, seems like a no brainer. Hopefully he can get healthy and stay that way, if that happens, expect a long term deal to follow. The Bills have a lot of receiver problems, this isn't at the top of the list
  5. Yo... Dope. Clearly you don't realize I am trashing UNC because I like Duke
  6. the Bills social media team would be working overtime to keep that one family-friendly
  7. 8m is a reasonable salary for a young TE that has flashed and still has lots of upside. If we can extend him a few more years at or just below that rate it's a win. If he was our 4th or 5th option pass catcher that may be something different, but we're not in the position to be letting talented young guys with upside walk, just because they have not lived up to their draft position.
  8. 100% Beane picks up the option. I think he should, 8-9 mil for a year isn’t bad. Give him 2 years to see if he can change the narrative. He wasn’t injury prone at Utah, and Josh really did him dirty with that horrific pass when Kincaid was wide open that blew up his right knee. That was a career altering for Kincaid. The guy has elite skills when he can stay healthy (not saying he’s an elite player). If he can get himself off the All Glass team, maybe he reaches his potential.
  9. This is always our cheat code when we need it. Not only are JA runs effective in and of themself, but it also opens up the passing game by drawing eyes to the threat of Josh Allen running. I don’t see us as in must win mode today though. 3-2 over these last 5 gets us in, and depending how things play out, 2-3 could. If there’s any game to circle as a game guys should gut it out to get a W, it’s next week to stop NE from clinching against us. It’s gonna happen, but don’t let it happen vs us.
  10. During the brief blip that was Hoecht's season, Buffalo changed the look up a ton. And they changed it in ways I hadn't seen while he was out on suspension and haven't seen since. That 2 DE, no DT look they ran worked very well. Unfortunately, I haven't seen them run it since Hoecht went down. I'd like for them to try and bring it back as they do have guys I think could do ok there in AJE and Dorian Williams. Maybe Morgan Fox can do it. Who knows. Point being, I think they have a good chunk of their defensive playbook mothballed. This would be a good time to dial it up and cause some confusion.
  11. According to the Bills recent schedule, they are supposed to lose this week but win next week. lol
  12. True but you have to look at where & what those coaches have went through to be the coaches that they now are at some point they had to get the opportunity to show the skills that they had learned while in lets say their understudy roles and if they didn't they may have never made it to where they are . Practical hands on experience is the best teacher and there is NO WAY book learning will ever trump that .
  13. Burrow barely completed half his passes last week. Bengals have the worst running and passing defenses in the league. It won't matter if Glass Toe Joe gets his 1 or 2 TDs. If Brady can't scheme for this joke of a Defense then he needs to be fired postgame.
  14. With Joe Burrow back in the fold and Dalton Firstaid rumored to try and play, I hear there will be so many blue tents on the sidelines it's going to resemble a farmers market.
  15. I would say it's the New England game that skewed the season. They're not going to win every game, and the Miami game with the heat and the timing was just an aberration, I think. But you got to win at home against divisional rivals, and there was no reason to lose against New England, who were playing well but not stellar. As usual, turnovers were the problem. Hard to overcome two fumbles and an interception. But, looking deeper, the real culprit was Coleman. Allen was constantly targeting him, and Coleman was doing nothing, quite apart from his disastrous fumble. That was the game I think the Bills brain trust realized "Houston, we have a problem." At least they have no illusions about the guy anymore, or the WR corps overall. With it's MVP quarterback, stellar line, All-Pro running back and JUCO receivers, the Bills are like a weight lifter jacked above the waist but with skinny little legs. Against the Bengals today, I think that will more than suffice.
  16. And some of you have been complaining since day 1 and you have to take into consideration ALL of the factors not just the bad calls by coaches or possible player not lining up where they were suppose to like the 13 second game, but injuries, bad refereeing, players not doing their jobs, and other things. But you all seem to jump right to It's Beane & McD FIRE THEM every time ... There are no other problems and if you think that with this many injuries this season that it in no way has changed the course of this team and what it could have been your 100% wrong !!! We will never know if the decisions made on draft picks, and players that couldn't contribute say with Ed & Hoecht on the field with Strong in the back field would have been a really good D because they are hurt . So I would rather see IF Beane and his staff were on the right path instead of not taking into consideration ALL of the info before throwing the baby out with the bath water and those that can't see go become a Browns fan and see what the Bills have instead of constantly complaining !!
  17. Jackson isn't listed on the injury report so he'll be a full go in today's game... At least until he gets hit.
  18. I would also strongly endorse Hawes being part of the receiver crew at Josh's QB summer workouts.
  19. Obviously can’t trade him right now so I’m not sure what you’re going on about. This is now two years of this. We can’t keep building this team around injury prone players. See what the market is for him come FA and towards the Draft. Build this team like it should around JA, with a strong OL and good WR’s. A restructured Knox and more experienced Hawes is plenty good enough. That wanted him as a TE for mismatches and to be multiple, except he’s clearly a big slot. It’s almost a dead giveaway we’re passing when he’s on the field. Nothing about his usage says “multiple”. He’s just a big WR who’s always hurt, so focus on getting Josh actual WR’s this off-season and get what you can for Kincaid.
  20. I understand where they are coming from with their equations but given that the Bills D has such a heavy rotation and the fact that second year players like Carter that was trending up and could have been a difference maker is something they can't put into that equation because they or the Bills can't know what his production could have been . Especially along side Walker the rookie DT that could have been a very dynamic pairing with Ed on one side and Carter on the other so it's slightly flawed in that respect but I get where they are coming from & it helps to let those like my self know a little better the effects of these losses of players .
  21. Yo, Im not the dope that pointed out that Maye couldnt be any good because he went to school at UNC. How comical when Allen went to Wyoming. Also skippy, I was here last season when the Pats were a 4 win team.
  22. I think the Committee will use Bama as a buffer to keep ND & Miami separated, which is absolutely insane. Very well could end up that Bama losing keeps Notre Dame in, while if they lost, Miami would be in. I hope not, but Heather Dinich keeps laying out that scenario. Which is obviously insane, but this committee has not exactly been the bastion of sanity. Bama should be out, but then you destroy conference championships. ….but maybe they should be destroyed. Unbalanced schedules and nonsense like five way tiebreakers putting a team like Duke in over the ACC’s best team. Texas A&M and OU played a JV SEC schedule are in with no questions asked, meanwhile schools like Florida played a gauntlet nobody would make it through. Perhaps we should just expand the CFP and do away with conference championships if this is what we get. Bama CLEARLY does not belong. Their last month has been poor football. The last four spots should be Miami, ND, Tulane and JMU.
