Good point. I remember if we made it too late, we could always park in the lot that was next to Hammers, and just walk over. If memory serves they did allow campers, but would charge twice as much.

It was a calculated risk Beane took, and understand he was committed to trying to win a SB. Injuries as Miyagi-San indicates it was just bad luck for 1.5 years due to injuries. Outside of his suspension. He played well last year. It was time to move on from him, and appreciate the gamble Beane took on Bosa. He could be a gem, or at the least another gamble on a possible winner. If not, well, we didn’t have enough $ for anyone else. We could never compete with Cleveland or Vegas for Garrett or Mad Max.

Guys, I know people don’t respect flag football, but it is a different sport than tackle. I played tackle ball, and wrestled, and Powerlifted, but respect the skills it takes and athleticism of professional flag football players. I coached my boys for years, and although they both played tackle as well, they loved flag. The deception, speed, strategy, etc. was fun for them. With tackle they were able to legally hit people so had the best of both worlds. My boys played in an ultra competitive league where coaches would film tough upcoming opponents, cherry pick talent as these coaches knew what good looked like. So I respect what those young men accomplished. I love hitting g and taking down people as much as the next guy, but to be an excellent flag player, you have to be quick, great hands, athletic, fast twitch, and elusive.

You hit the nail on the head with what I was thinking, which is blood thinners. People on blood thinners have frequent hand and arm bruises.

I have no idea whether the note is legitimate. We know Trump did have at least some semblance of a relationship with Epstein that goes back to the early 1990s, but so did a lot of people, and Trump said in 2019 that he had not spoken with him for about 15 years prior to that. We also know that this all sounds almost exactly like another story involving the F.B.I. and a newly discovered document that was damaging to Trump: the case of Paul Manafort and the “black ledger.” Recall that in August 2016, just after Trump secured the Republican nomination for president, the New York Times broke the story about allegations of secret foreign payments “designated for” Manafort, Trump’s highly effective campaign adviser. The purpose was clearly to demonstrate a link between Russia and Trump, using Manafort’s business dealings in Ukraine. Manafort denied the thrust of the story, but more importantly, the details of how the Times obtained the information were preposterous. According to the Times, an anti-corruption agency in Ukraine (an oxymoron if there ever was one) just so happened upon the “black ledger” after it was supposedly obtained “when protestors ransacked” an office in Kiev way back in 2014. Words and monetary figures in the compilation of records were all handwritten and purportedly included details of payments for Manafort. Coincidentally, the agency that said it found the book has what the Times called “an evidence-sharing agreement with the F.B.I.” Around that same time, guess what the F.B.I. was doing. Ah, yes, it was lying on court warrant applications to spy on Trump’s campaign while also working alongside the Democrat nominee’s campaign to further associate Trump with Russia! This is the same F.B.I. that has been handling the Epstein case. And so here we are. Another seedy book turns up out of nowhere to associate Trump with criminal conduct. What a coincidence. https://thefederalist.com/2025/07/18/the-leather-bound-epstein-book-reeks-of-being-a-fake-plant-to-implicate-trump/ There are a couple of threads about how Obama’s DOJ was weaponized and corroborated to plant evidence that Russia helped the Trump campaign. That Obama rewrote the ICs findings of no Russian interference 2 days after finding no evidence of any. But carry on about a letter - that even if real (it’s not) implies literally nothing. Maxwell forwarded Trump a letter and said sign this? Nah. No way. Pedo. If you take the fake letter to mean that but brush off actual hard evidence of Team Obama setting up Trump then you’re just a hack. Hard evidence that Team Biden told everyone to lie about his condition? Nahhh nothing to see there.

While I wouldn't argue the defense played well in this most recent AFCCG.... it did "hold up" and make a couple of plays when it needed to in order to give the offense the ball and a chance to win the game. They couldn't get it done. It is not as simple as "improve the defense" to me. They still need a game breaker in the pass game for those situations. And they haven't. -
Von seems well liked by all levels of his prior organizations, and he’s great with the media, great with publicity. He’s an asset for sure, but sadly he’s worst attribute as an memeber of a team is found on the field these days. Wish him the best.

I was always in the camp that Main and Hamlin was better than Bar Bill. Bar Bill is where all the tourists go. Main and Hamlin is where all the locals go. Then in the spring I decided I would go into Bar Bill, and they were just a touch better than Main and Hamlin. The past couple of times I went into Main and Hamlin, I felt their quality slipped a notch or two. Bar Bill has always been consistent. Either way, you can't go wrong.
