Hate to say this … but the Pats are effing good

Allen has had bad games here and there, but he has never meaningfully regressed, at least until Joe Brady got his hands on him… -

Fans were downplaying the Pats earlier in the season even after they beat us, but now the pendulum has swung too far in the other direction. We don't need to overreact to them handling maybe the worst team in the NFL... I would easily trade their coaching staff for ours, that's where they have a massive advantage over us. They still have some real roster deficiencies though. The CB tandem is excellent of course. The safeties are middling and the LBs can't cover. They have no difference maker on the DL. On offense their OL is fine, their RB room is fine (maybe better than fine if Henderson continues his momentum from the past two weeks), the WR room I would put slightly above our 2019 room in the sense that they have a couple good pieces but no true #1. -
There were issues with Diggs before Brady even became OC. Cant believe people are going to bat for this turd.

There are definitely plenty of Pats skeptics out there, I’ll give you that. -

Yes Allen did He started out bad and finished strong vs Miami In the beginning of 19 he was very inconsistent and really settled down after the pats game. He then had a passer rating of like over 100 for many weeks until the Baltimore game. In 2020 he started extremely fast and then had a month of blah football. He then went on a heater until Baltimore in the playoffs. In 21 it was very inconsistent including the 9-6 game. 22 throughout 23 was also other adjustments to 2 high and tons of zone. Every QB goes through it. Some come out of it still great like Allen. Some are good like Carr, other fold like Wentz . Some QBs never even get going like losman or Zack Wilson Mahomes had 2 months of regression in 21. And again in 23 and 24 -
Maybe it was because he saw that Joe Bradys offense wasn't going to be very friendly to him and thought he was better utilized elsewhere Looks as if he was right

Peyton Manning joins Josh Allen to help Buffalo break curse
Alphadawg7 replied to Bill51390's topic in The Stadium Wall
“After successfully freeing the Detroit Lions from ‘The Curse of Bobby Layne,’ Peyton Manning gets ambushed by former Buffalo Bills wide receiver Steve Tasker and the Bills Mafia, who demand Peyton lift ‘The Buffalo Sports Curse.’" Um whose gonna tell him...they have the same number of SB trophies as the Bills. Given they were snake bitten with injuries all year in their best season for a SB win maybe in franchise history last year, I am not seeing how he lifted their "curse". lol -
I think if they win the division they will not be one and done. But I'd rather win the division and lose than not make the playoffs or be a wild card. One step at a time.

Remember how long the media kept trying to prop the Pats up after Brady left? Don't fall for the marketing. -

Every QB does not regress. Allen didn’t, Mahomes didn’t, Brady didn’t…and I could keep going. Comparing Maye to Tua or Mack Jones (or even Herbert) is ridiculous. None of those QBs ever played near the level Maye has this year. -
I'm not a fan of a team (Cowboys) getting like 25 yards and automatically being in FG range.

You asked, and they listened… (Bills on Hallmark)

I expect his role to be right up there with his portrayals of Ralphie Cifaretto, Eddie Moscone, and Guido the Killer Pimp. I better not be disappointed. If he doesn't show up in the movie dressed for a game in his Pine Barrens hunting outfit, that's a huge missed opportunity. -

This. CJ Stroud looked impressive and has declined since. Stroud is now a top 15 QB at best. DC's will get tape and defend Maye better. Let's also see what he does against tighter coverages in inclimate weather. -

On DraftKings, Chiefs have the best AFC Super Bowl odds, followed by Indy and then the Bills, but NE has much better odds than the Bills or Chiefs to land the number 1 seed. -

Every QB has regression, especially when they're younger. There's usually tape, an adjustment, and then the QB either folds or becomes mid to good or adjusts fully and becomes great. Herbert has had multiple stretches during a season where he had better numbers than mahomes. We literally saw it with tua. Mac Jones was also the next Brady I read on this board. The bills were 7-6, pats 9-4. In 23 bills were 6-6 , fins were 9-3 I'll give it merit if it actually happens. And by happening that means going further than buffalo in January. I think that's a silly opinion. -

If the Bills go one and done, you will be content that they won the division? Can't let Baker scramble around. They have injuries at receiver so that should help.
