That plus a QB who is playing great and just about any team in the NFL is talented enough to be where they are right now.

I’ll take Allen but I do think Maye is a better passer. Based on his career, I’ll give Allen the edge in the intangibles department. Maye is just way more accurate. I don’t think they’re particularly close in that area tbh. His ball placement has been impeccable this season. And let’s not even talk about the deep ball. I haven’t read the thread and probably won’t, but I can already see it now. Maye throws the deep ball because he has better weapons. 🤣 no. The kid is legit. He has some elite skills. Whether he ends up in Josh/Mahommie territory, I think it's too early to say. We will get a better picture next season when he plays first place schedule and teams have more film on him.

We know the family decently well and some of our other friends and family know them very well. They are a fantastic family with a long reputation in the Charlotte NC area. More specifically Huntersville/Lake Norman. They all have work ethic and money isn't the motivation. They're competitors. The entire family is well accomplished in sports and they're all huge people. Working hard won't be his problem. He'll put in the hours. That doesn't always translate but it's usually a common thread among the QB's that make it. Of course this league is brutal but I'd lean towards this kid having a chance of being really good.

I'm not a huge fan of McD but I agree he has to continue making the play calls on defense. He puts the players in the better position to make plays. I've noticed Tre is playing much better, Bishop is really solid and a asset now, LB Shaq is a steady force, there was a Milano sighting, Bosa has been a great addition, and hopefully Max Hariston comes into his own. I’m a Carolina grad and Maye disappointed me his last season. They got a signature win against Miami and then shat themselves, and Maye did not put the team on his back. He’s a good QB and he’s in a great situation right now, but from what I’ve seen when adversity strikes he hasn’t delivered. Basically everything has gone right for the Pats*** this season. I’m reserving judgment.
