  1. Past hour
  2. Hey, you know what? It was killing me that the Bills had a 98.8 chance to win that game and losing that game like that in overtime like that still hurts. Stuff happens man, and Patrick Mahomes given that little extra chance pulled it out. Leslie Frazier calls for a "prevent defense" It would have been home field against the Bengals and they lost to the Rams in the SB. I'm not gonna continue to cry about it. I've seen what this team is capable of when everyone is healthy and its a championship team. I just hope for the best.
  3. Godwin and Irving out for what it's worth.
  4. According to McD before practice apparently.
  5. Right now, Dallas.....but SF is still an option.....saving Baltimore for next week(I hope).
  6. Both Hardman and Gabe are on the PS. They aren't going to call up 2 receivers. Unless you think one will get signed to the active roster within the next day.
  7. Truth be told, I became a Sox fan when I moved here, which was in the midst of the 86 years of championship wilderness that franchise endured. It was incredibly exciting when they won in 2004. I’d love to experience that again with the Bills (and Sabres).
  8. Oh I get it. It’s not a big reason that they were blown out by a 2-7 team. Every team has injuries. That 2-7 team was missing their best pass rusher and their top CB. They are also playing without a HOF WR. Earlier in the week, that 2-7 team traded their other top pass rusher. So, to recap they were playing without their best CB, their 2 best pass rushers and a HOF WR. That team WON by 3 scores. The Bills injuries are an excuse this year. There have been times where injuries have been a factor. At the same time, their MVP QB has the longest active starting streak in the NFL. Their elite OL has missed 2 games COMBINED dating back to last season!!
  9. McDermott is very cognizant of the fact that a big-name coordinator could question his strategy or even possibly replace him, so as long as he's here, we will not have a guy like that.
  10. No they are not, not anymore… at least not as of Sunday they were not.. besides odd makers make it so people will bet
  11. Man, we got healthy pretty quick. All in all, the worst of it is Hoecht - we barely got to see him, but man did he make a difference. Obviously, losing Oliver also hurts, but I feel some confidence that he is back for the playoffs. No excuses this weekend. Coming off a brutal loss, at home, pretty healthy - gotta hope that we can show the world we're still in the mix for the AFCE and 1 seed.
  12. I doubt anyone thinks Maye has “overtaken” Josh Allen (I’m not even sure what that means), but he has objectively outplayed Allen through the first 10 games of the season. There are lots of possible reasons for that, but it’s an undeniable fact. Of course that could change, and I’m sure Josh will return to form, but there’s no real reason to think Maye is going to suddenly regress. It seems more likely that he’ll continue to improve.
  13. Anyone who think Pegula will get rid of Beane or McD only needs to look at the worst run franchise in the history of US sports....your Buffalo Sabres. The fact that Adams still has a job is the most pathetic storyline of that decrepit franchise.
  14. There's a reason KC and buffalo are the top two favorites to win the AFC Mark this thread in January
  15. i dunno i'd be shocked if they benched Keon. maybe i'm wrong.
  16. Well let him have his C.J. Stroud year. He'll get figured out. They'll get figured out. We are still gonna beat them, maybe twice. They looked good when they were a WC with the GOAT HC and that didn't end well. Everyone is 0-0 when the playoffs start.
  17. WR Prediction vs Bucs: Shakir Samuel Palmer Gabe Hardman Other pass catchers: Knox Cook Hawes Ty Ray Gilliam Inactive: Keon Shavers Elijah Moore
  18. Stop going by the past.. KC doesn’t even look like a playoff team this year.. Baltimore prbl will win their division because the division is awful. When the playoffs start it’s anyone’s game
  19. Yeah and with the best qb in football here we can’t seem to get our shyt together in the last 5 years AND now our unfocused and gun shy QB gets 55 mil a year to hand the ball off and throw 3 yard passes only to watch our defense give up a million first downs on 3rd and long. my hot sports opinion: the Bills are done too many holes to fill and our gm has mostly missed in the draft the last 5 seasons and dedicated huge money to our “home grown” borderline talent making sure we can’t afford decent free agents. our window is shut and Allen is playing like he knows it.
  20. I might be off, but this was 17's best acting since the "Welcome back Canada" bit in, I believe, 2021(?). Actual football immaterial, no. I'm looking solely at star power on camera. Flame away boys.
  21. I agree w/ those who say that the record they have is impressive and that they're obviously a good team. But I also agree w/ those who say it's a product of the easy schedule. If they had a "normal" schedule, they'd have at least 3-4 losses right now, and the story would be more about how they've turned it around and seem to be climbing back in contention - as opposed to "the dynasty is back! Another 20 years....deal w/ it, league!" Maye looks great, but so have a lot of other guys. Honestly, the best thing that could happen in the division is McDaniel becoming HC of the Giants next year. Watching that offense, he has set the table for Maye to succeed and look amazing. They'd still have Vrabel - who I see as more of a "culture" kind of coach than a great football mind.
  22. OSU gets great receivers, OL, and other perks. A QB's job is made much easier when guys are open by 10 yards on each play. And other young kids need to worry about the run. Well in the NFL, you aren't going to get access to all of the great receivers and OL. You have to hit a receiver open by two yards instead of ten. Defenses are much bigger, faster, stronger and smarter. Getting by on physical strengths alone is not enough. It's like going from multiplication to complicated algebra. So I agree with the poster above.
  23. Kromer and/or Curry at OC would be such a travesty. Not sure who the hot upcoming QB coaches are that we could steal and promote to OC, but I know Mark Brunell is out there. He'd never do it, but I'd love to see McD go get a guy like Schwartz and just stay out of his way and let him do his thing. Let McD transition into a true HC role. I'm sure there will be defensive based HCs fired this year to step back into a DC spot. We'll have to see who comes available.
  24. The Pegula factor (aka Sabres-esque moves) dictates it will be - Rick Dennison.
  25. It's not projection or wishful thinking to think that a second year quarterback is going to get more tape and experience adversity. The jury is still out. What is wishful thinking is thinking a second year quarterback is going to overtake Josh Allen. Whether it be a division or in the playoffs. That's silly and wishful thinking until we actually see it happen when it matters. Hello Mac Jones and Tua... Saying they're older guys are healthy is also wishful thinking as older guys wear down in December in January. Benford & hairston being healthy will lockdown the pats wrs. The pats are pretty good vs the run but we'll see what happens in December vs our offensive line. I think it's a massive mismatch. Especially with Milton Williams being hurt. We'll both bring this thread up during Christmas and in January
  26. She got her "financial smarts" from her dad who was the mayor of Baltimore and was reputed to have mob ties.
