While Buffalo dominated the division during the Super Bowl years, they never went unbeaten in the AFC East. On 3 different occasions the Bills finished 7-1 (the division had 4 teams at the time ) in 1988, 1990, 1991 and 1993) With wins over the Patriots and Dolphins they would finish the year 6-0. How rare is that? The Patriots did it in 2012 and their undefeated season of 2007. The Dolphins did it in 1984 and their undefeated season of 1962.’
