‘The Bills roster is set (for now) at 53 players and on Wednesday we got to hear from Brandon Beane about the decisions that went into Buffalo’s rosters cuts.’

‘The expectation is for the state and county to cover about 50% of the new stadium costs, with the amount for taxpayers still up in the air.’

‘Johnson was the Bills 7th round pick back in 2019 and turned himself into a special teams star in Buffalo, but there was too much talent ahead of him on the depth chart at defensive line.’

‘Off the field, McDermott navigated a Thursday morning news conference dominated by Covid vaccine related questions. The day began with Isiah McKenzie and Cole Beasley both revealing on social media that they had been fined by the NFL for not following Covid protocols of players’s that are not fully vaccinated. McKenzie later said he was vaccinated, but it’s possible he was not at full vaccination status and still had to follow the mask wearing rules.’

‘The legendary pass rusher was working with rookies Greg Rousseau and Boogie Basham. Rousseau, the Bills first-round pick this year, wasn’t even a year old when Smith was terrorizing quarterbacks in Buffalo.’

‘Beasley and Davis both passed their COVID tests Tuesday morning, but, per NFL protocols, unvaccinated players who are deemed to be in close contact with someone who is positive must isolate for five days.’

‘”You gotta embrace your role,” says the 26-year-old. “Whatever it is. You can’t be one of those guys that wants thirty carries a game.”‘

‘The Bills got outstanding contributions from a number of players on offense, including Devin Singletary, Isaiah McKenzie, Jacob Hollister and Reggie Gilliam. The special teams were also phenomenal, capped off with rookie Marquez Stevenson returning a punt for a touchdown.’

‘On the injury front, McDermott also said that Stefon Diggs will not play and they are hoping they can get him back on the field soon. Diggs has been out for more than a week with a knee injury that has become a concern. Left tackle Dion Dawkins, returning from Covid , will play in the game.’
