McDermott has a lot to get done during mandatory minicamp

‘”We continue to work on our fundamentals, the foundation we’re building, getting the guys back out there and executing,” said McDermott on Tuesday during his press conference with the media. “I think we’ve had a good offseason to this point. This time of year, you’re putting in new things and you’re trying to look at them and decide if this is something we want to take into training camp.”‘

Allen has ‘no doubt’ they’ll figure it out with Diggs

‘”Internally we’re working on some thing, not football-related,” Allen told reporters Tuesday just after the team wrapped up their first of a three-day mandatory minicamp. “‘Stef’, he’s my guy, I f****n’ love him. He’s a brother of mine. This does not work, what we’re doing here, without him.”‘

Bills minicamp marches on without Stefon Diggs

‘Defensive tackle Jordan Phillips didn’t participate, as he continued to work on the side with trainers.’

Bills begin mandatory minicamp

‘As opposed to the previous eight weeks of workouts, this week’s sessions are not voluntary. All players under contract must attend or will be fined by the team. Those fines are $16,459 for missing one day, $32,920 for missing a second day and $49,374 a third day.’

Ed Oliver very happy he’s re-signed with Bills

‘”I don’t feel no pressure. I feel like I’m going to outplay the contract,” said Oliver when speaking with the media on Tuesday. “I just want to shut everybody up who said I was overpaid, just sit back and watch”.’

Bills sign cornerback Cameron Dantzler to one-year contract

‘Dantzler was drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in the third round (89th overall) of the 2020 NFL Draft. During his rookie season, he started 10 of 11 games at cornerback with three tackles for loss and two interceptions.’

Hamlin fully participates, Floyd makes debut as Bills hit final week of OTAs

‘The Bills’ new edge rusher joined his teammates on the field outside the ADPRO Sports Training Center for the first time after signing a one-year contract on Tuesday, which ESPN NFL insider Jeremy Fowler says is worth, at least, $7 million and up to $9 million.’

Bills sign pass rusher Leonard Floyd to one-year contract

‘To make room for Floyd on the 90-man roster, the Bills have released undrafted free agent running back Isaiah Bowser.’

Beane updates cap space as details of Oliver, Floyd deals emerge

‘However, he is also projecting them to be $3-5 million over the cap when they have to cut down to their final 53-man roster, and all of those salaries count. The general manager said that’s projecting who will make the roster, while also considering guarantees, and with no injuries.’

Leonard Floyd couldn’t be happier to join Bills

‘”It’s the people. I feel like if you have great people in the building, they bring out the best in the players. I feel that way with the Bills,” said Floyd. “I might just play my best ball on the Bills just being around great people and great teammates.”‘

Holcomb feels comfortable working with McDermott again

‘“There was a level of comfort for me, in terms of terminology. There’s similarities, but there’s also differences as well,” said Holcomb ahead of Tuesday’s session of OTAs at One Bills Drive.’

Bills sign defensive tackle Ed Oliver to four-year contract extension

‘Oliver was selected ninth overall in the 2019 NFL Draft out of the University of Houston, and was about to enter the final year of his rookie deal. The 25-year-old was scheduled to make just shy of $10.8 million in 2023, with the exact same amount counting against the salary cap.’

‘The seven-year pro spent his last three seasons with the Los Angeles Rams, recording, at least, nine sacks in all three years.’

Bills EVP and COO Ron Raccuia hopes to have new stadium structure in place by end of this season

‘Raccuia mentioned this process began sometime around March of 2021 and on what fans can expect for this upcoming season, “If everything keeps going the way it has thus far, hopefully we’ll have steel in place and the structure starting to go up sometime toward the end of this upcoming season.”’

Report: Bills agree to four-year contract extension with defensive tackle Ed Oliver

‘Oliver was selected ninth overall in the 2019 NFL Draft out of the University of Houston, and was about to enter the final year of his rookie deal. The 25-year-old was scheduled to make just shy of $10.8 million in 2023, with the exact same amount counting against the salary cap. The new deal will presumably lower that cap number, but exact details have not been announced.’
