‘With the win, the Bills now take a commanding lead in the AFC East standings in the win improving their record to 4-2. The Bills were able to get help from rookie running back Ray Davis with James Cook out of the lineup with foot/toe injury.’

‘However, part of Allen’s success in the passing game was the result of a strong rushing performance from the likes of rookie Ray Davis and veteran Ty Johnson, who combined for 131 yards on the ground.’

‘”Awesome to see. It’s why we drafted him,” said Allen during his postgame press conference with the media. “He’s so quick in-and-out of his cuts, he’s downhill… he runs super hard. I’m proud of him for stepping up.”‘

The line has had some hiccups leading to Allen getting flushed from the pocket and throwing on the run.’

‘The Jets fired their head coach, Robert Saleh, this week. Usually when that happens, a team gets a bit of a bump in their play. Maybe from an energy boost. Maybe because they’re paying more attention to detail. Maybe they’re more accountable that next week. Whatever the reason, the Bills can’t get caught up in the Jets emotion and need to match their energy from the start of the game. Take the crowd and emotion out of the game early, and don’t give New York any hope.’
