‘As Buffalo fans know, the crowds at Bills games are totally different than the crowd that goes to a Sabres game. Antipin noticed the difference, “The atmosphere was interesting and I liked the passes. The fans were a little bit different, fans of the Bills are more noisy.”’

‘The rushing attack was the story for New Orleans. They finished with 301 yards and 6 touchdowns, just on the ground.’

‘The offense was absolutely putrid. I don’t know how they managed to pull this one off, but they got Charles Clay back, added Kelvin Benjamin and got worse! Tyrod Taylor was flat out awful. He played like a quarterback who lived in fear of turning the ball over. It didn’t start out badly thought. The Bills actually moved the ball on their very first drive, going 57-yards in nine plays before settling for a field goal. Who knew that would be the high-point of the afternoon.’

‘This is the first time Sean McDermott and his staff has faced adversity. As I said after the last two wins, McDermott had convinced his team to play above their talent level. The last two weeks, it’s been more of what I expected when the season started, although I didn’t expect them to be as bad as they were against the Saints.’

‘Concerned that everything so many people worried and talked about is coming to fruition. That this team was living on borrowed time at 5-2, doing it mostly with a turnover formula that couldn’t be sustained. Or that it was only a matter of time before a roster made up of mostly non-big-name players who came from somewhere else after other teams didn’t want them would finally start to catch up to them.’

‘If Henderson can’t go Sunday, that leaves the 5-3 Bills with rookies Dion Dawkins and Conor McDermott, along with Jordan Mills as the only healthy tackles on the active roster. McDermott has suited up twice this season, playing on some special teams, but he has yet to play an offensive snap in an NFL game.’

‘”First day of free agency the Bills called and I had to make a decision that day. And I’m glad I came here to Buffalo. We love it.”‘

‘Glenn missed multiple weeks of training camp and preseason action with soreness in the same foot and ankle area. He received a shot as part of his recovery and was able to start in the team’s opening game back in September. However, Glenn missed games in weeks three and four against the Broncos and Falcons, respectively, due to the same injury. In Week 5 at Cincinnati, he suited up but did not play any offensive snaps. Rookie Dion Dawkins started in his place in all three contests.’

The stadium was packed. That has to tell you something. That history, that passion, and that’s what I am.”’

‘Typically when we go into the season we try and figure out how to get the Bills to 10 wins. Its a win total that can usually get you into the post season. Good news Bills fans, you might only have to get them to nine this season thanks to the less than spectacular AFC. According to the New York Times playoff machine, if the Bills beat the Chargers, Colts and sweep Miami and finish with a 9-7 record, they have a 75% chance of getting into the playoffs.’

‘Road games with the Los Angeles Chargers and Kansas City Chiefs follow that, and then it’s the New England Patriots at home. If you want to get the Bills to 10 wins, I think you need to split these four games. That leaves you with the Colts at home, a road rematch with the Patriots and your two games with the Miami Dolphins. Obviously if nine wins does the trick for the playoffs, and it might, this isn’t quite as daunting.’

‘”I thought it was important for Kelvin to get in and have more than a day or to to learn some of the playbook. I knew Carolina did not have their bye yet, wanted a fresh Kelvin Benjamin moving forward. The guys on this team have gone out of their way to make Kelvin comfortable.”‘
