‘The shocking storyline from the Bills’ 44-34 win has to be the defensive effort. Getting to Wilson five times, getting four turnovers, holding them to 3-for-12 on third downs, and holding the D.K. Metcalf/Tyler Lockett duo to 148 yards and a score is a huge win for a Bills defensive unit struggling to find the success Bills fans have grown accustomed to during Sean McDermott’s first four seasons.’

‘Getting a win over a competitive, talented and well-coached team, that’s a true contender in the NFC, should give this Bills team a huge boost. With the performances we saw from Allen, a fully-healthy John Brown and the defense, there could be a lot more to look forward to as we now hit the back half of the regular season.’

‘Holy cow was Allen good in this one, especially in the first half. The Bills’ quarterback started incredibly hot and stayed that way for most of it, connecting on 13 of 15 first quarter passes, and 24 of 28 in the first half for 282 yards by halftime. He only threw ten passes in the second half, but still connected on seven of them to finish 31-for-38 (81.5%) for 415 yards and 3 TD passes. Allen added another 14 yards and one touchdown rushing, for a four TD day.’

‘Despite the Bills having a bye week after their Week 10 matchup with the Cardinals in Arizona, the NFL’s amended collective bargaining agreement says Milano must sit out three games.’

‘Since Sean McDermott and Leslie Frazier have been in charge of the Bills defense their first year together in 2017, they’ve consistently been one of, if not the best team in the league in not allowing long pass plays. Seattle will want to push the ball down the field and make those plays, and they’re very good at that. The Bills will want to limit them and have been good at doing that.’

‘Meanwhile, wide receiver John Brown was a full participant Thursday, but center Mitch Morse was among those who did not practice. Morse is in the league’s concussion protocol, as is safety Micah Hyde, who not only practiced for a second straight day, but was also no longer in a red non-contact jersey.’

‘The 2020 season was expected to be a breakout year for Knox, but so far it has been anything but that. In his four games played this season, the 6-foot-4, 254-pound tight end has just six receptions for 93 yards on 12 total targets.’

‘Safety Micah Hyde and and center Mitch Morse are both still in the league’s concussion protocol, but Hyde participated on a limited basis, while Morse did not. Hyde had full equipment, but wore a red non-contact jersey during the session. Morse was on the sidelines jogging.’

‘The 25-year-old was released by the Dallas Cowboys this past Wednesday after the team had reportedly failed to find a trade for the fifth-year cornerback. Worley played just seven games with the Cowboys this season, starting four of those contests while registering 14 tackles and one pass defended. He signed a one-year, $3 million deal with Dallas in the offseason.’

‘I like the wins, sure, but I need the touchdowns. Two straight weeks without a passing touchdown? What are we, Navy?’

The Bills are currently dealing with several injuries at the position, including Matt Milano, who only played 15 snaps on Sunday after only 19 the week prior in his first two games returning from a pectoral injury. Tremaine Edmunds missed time earlier this season with a shoulder injury and also had to leave Sunday’s 24-21 win over the Patriots for two plays after being banged up. Tyrel Dodson remains on Injured Reserve with a hamstring injury.’
