‘Pete Guelli, the Rochester native and Aquinas High and SUNY Brockport graduate who is now the Chief Operating Officer of the Bills and Buffalo Sabres, told the Democrat and Chronicle in an exclusive interview Monday that a long-term deal between the team and Fisher is imminent.’

‘NFL MVP Josh Allen and the rest of his teammates will be on the field for the first time on Wednesday, July 23 and will conduct a total of 11 sessions in Pittsford with the majority of those beginning at 9:45 a.m. and one being closed to the public.’

‘Coleman exploded for 60 points at Bills teammate Damar Hamlin’s Chasing M’s Foundation celebrity basketball game at Duquesne University’s Cooper Fieldhouse in Pittsburgh on Saturday, showcasing the athleticism that made him a dual-sport athlete at Michigan State. Social media clips from the game showed Coleman hitting step-back 3-pointers, throwing down highlight-reel dunks, including double-clutch jams, windmills and a lob to himself off the backboard.’

‘The lone unsigned player is second-round defensive tackle T.J. Sanders, one of 30 second-round picks still without a deal. Sanders is one of the biggest Bills picks by stature and draft capital. Buffalo traded up to No. 41 to select the 6-foot-4, 297-pounder out South Carolina. Sanders has participated in Buffalo’s offseason workouts.’

‘It was not a pleasant development that Bosa injured his calf during the OTAs and has been sidelined the bulk of the spring. He has been in the NFL nine seasons, all with the Chargers, and in only three did he play in 16 games. Bosa, who will be 31 when training camp begins, has missed 23 games over the previous three seasons, and it seems like his health problems have followed him to the other side of country.’

‘“No comment, no comment,” Andreessen said with a wide smile when he was asked about the interception. But then, after reconsidering, he offered, “Just going through my progression and trying to break on the ball, trying to make plays and yeah, just ran into one.”’

‘“I like my money. That’s why I’m here,” Cook said following practice.’

‘Thompson was Carolina’s first-round pick in the 2015 draft, No. 25 overall, and beginning in his rookie season he was a starter for eight consecutive seasons, surpassing 100 tackles in the last four. But then his career was derailed by injuries as he suffered a broken leg in 2023 and a torn Achilles in 2024, and he has played just six games combined in those seasons.’

‘The Bills had “real interest” in acquiring Alexander before they spent a first-round pick on cornerback Maxwell Hairston in the NFL Draft, according to FOX Sports’ Jordan Schultz.’

‘“It bears watching because you’ve got a guy who’s unhappy with this contractual situation,” Schefter said. “I don’t think we’ll be seeing him in Buffalo anytime soon. Again, the start of training camp will be the next critical moment. If they don’t have a deal done there by then, does James Cook show up for training camp? Does he risk the penalties that come along in the collective bargaining agreement if he doesn’t show up?”’

‘Harris was a seventh-round pick, No. 247 overall, by the Houston Texans in the 2024 NFL Draft. After getting waived during final roster cuts, he spent time on Houston’s and New England’s practice squads before being released by the Patriots in April.’

‘Not surprisingly, Buffalo’s pass defense rankings took a notable dip as the Bills finished 24th in passing yards allowed per game (226.1), down from seventh in 2023 (198.7). And that also led to a points per game yield of 21.6 which was decent at No. 12, but well below 2023 when the Bills ranked third in the league at 18.7.’

‘Coaches overstate it all the time that football is a three-phase game, but the reality is that special teams aren’t nearly as important as offense and defense. They just aren’t. However, mistakes in the kicking game can undoubtedly be costly and while the Bills didn’t have any that ultimately led to defeat, there were too many notable breakdowns and thus Sean McDermott fired special teams coordinator Matthew Smiley and replaced him with Chris Tabor.’

‘This spring, it’s a different story as Hyde has indeed called it quits and his jersey number was in play, and that’s how it wound up on the back of cornerback Dane Jackson, Hyde’s former teammate who left as a free agent in 2024 to sign with the Panthers, but is now back with the Bills in 2025.’

‘The newlyweds were first linked in May 2023 when they were photographed together in New York City. They went from dating to engaged to married in two years.’
