‘Wade, 27, was expected to be up for selection at the NFL draft later this month but has signed as a free agent for the Bills, who finished with a 6-10 record last season.’

‘Between these six linemen, the Bills have added 317 career games, 196 career starts and $39.05 million guaranteed (not including Spain). There is a strong possibility the Bills will have four new starters on their offensive line next season with the draft still to come.’

‘The Bills entered Monday with three of the NFL’s four oldest running backs under contract in Ivory, Gore and LeSean McCoy. Gore, 35, is expected to serve as the top backup behind McCoy, 30.’

‘The signings of Brown and Beasley will address another position of need for the Bills’ offense, which ranked 30th in the NFL last season. Buffalo is also expected to sign deals with running back Frank Gore, tight end Tyler Kroft and center Mitch Morse when free agency officially opens Wednesday.’

‘Morse started 15 games as a rookie but wasn’t available for either of the Chiefs’ two playoff games that year because of a concussion. He was limited to seven games in 2017 and 11 in 2018, plus two in the playoffs, because of injuries.’

‘Gore is one of the NFL’s iron men. His 2018 season ended on Dec. 16 after he suffered a right foot sprain, which snapped a streak of 126 consecutive games that dated back to 2010.’

‘Although Kroft went into the 2018 season looking like he would be the Bengals’ No. 2 tight end behind a healthy Tyler Eifert, injuries derailed most of his season. Kroft fractured his foot in a Week 5 game against the Miami Dolphins on Oct. 7 but continued to stay on the active roster in hopes he could return that year.’

‘He was placed on injured reserve last season after suffering a concussion in a Week 1 loss to the New England Patriots. It was his second concussion in less than a month, as he also left Houston’s preseason game against the San Francisco 49ers on Aug. 19 after hitting his head on the field.’

‘The Bills, with $76 million in salary-cap space and a glaring need for offensive playmakers, had not previously been reported among the teams vying for Brown. The Bills are still expected to address wide receiver in free agency and the draft to give second-year quarterback Josh Allen more help in 2019. Allen, the No. 7 overall pick last April, went 5-5 last season in games in which he both started and finished.’

‘Allen wrote, “Hey Ramsey … Am I still trash?” under his signature on the photo, which showed Allen celebrating a touchdown during a 24-21 win last November over the Jaguars. Through a Bills spokesperson, Allen confirmed Monday that he signed the photo and said he added the jab at Ramsey at the request of a fan.’

‘Clay, 30, was scheduled to count $9 million against the Bills’ salary cap in the final season of a five-year, $38 million contract. He finished last season with a career-low 184 receiving yards while averaging a career-low 8.8 yards per catch. Despite playing in 13 games and making 12 starts, his 21 catches were his fewest since 2012.’

‘Financial terms of Long’s contract with the Bills were not disclosed. Buffalo entered this offseason with about $80 million in salary-cap space and was expected to address their problematic offensive line. Starting right guard John Miller and right tackle Jordan Mills will both become unrestricted free agents in March, along with backup guard/center Ryan Groy.’

‘A team captain, Alexander was the Bills’ selection for the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award in the each of the past two seasons.’
