‘In early 2014, Incognito was found by NFL investigators to have engaged in a “pattern of harassment” of former Dolphins teammate Jonathan Martin during the prior season. The investigator’s report concluded that Incognito and two other teammates made racial slurs toward an assistant trainer. Incognito was eventually suspended for conduct detrimental to the team, and sat out the 2014 season as he went unsigned.’

‘According to court records, McCoy initiated eviction proceedings against Cordon last month. In a statement from her attorneys, Cordon found out that McCoy was trying to evict her via security footage streamed to her cell phone while she was out of town attending her sister’s graduation. She called the police and the eviction was stopped.’

‘”I think Josh is a mature guy who has handled his responsibilities the right way,” said Bills offensive coordinator Brian Daboll. “He works hard. He improves. He listens to the veterans and coaches. If he makes a mistake one day, he works really hard to try and fix it the next day. He has the right attitude.”‘

Then there’s Allen, who features an arm as pure as Lannister gold, but is viewed more as more of a developmental prospect. He’s not expected to start immediately, which is why he’s third on the depth chart.’

‘People often discuss the effect sitting behind quarterbacks has on a rookie, and how the Bills handle this season will be interesting. Will they give McCarron a bit of rope? Or will they listen to the inevitable calls to play Allen. It will likely all depend on the stakes for the Bills this season, but only time will tell if the risk to move up for Allen will pay off sooner, later or never.’

‘Was he perfect? Absolutely not. At times, Taylor’s cautiousness can be a hindrance to an NFL offense. But he was more capable than McDermott and the Bills gave him credit for evidenced by McDermott’s decision to bench Taylor for Nathan Peterman before their Week 11 game against the Chargers. Peterman threw five interceptions in the first half before McDermott turned back to Taylor, who submitted a typical performance in the second half that ultimately didn’t matter in a blowout. Despite that self-inflicted loss, the Bills — quarterbacked by Taylor — made the playoffs by the skin of their teeth.’

‘The first thing you notice is their sheer mass. The hulking dude in the red No. 17 jersey hovering above almost everyone else in the offensive huddle. And then, across the practice field, the specimen wearing No. 49 in white, the quarterback of the defensive huddle, who seems to be from a different gene pool at times, a teenager sticking out among the grown men.’

Embiid, who still has “The Process” stretched across his profile on Twitter and referred to himself as such, was never shy about the Sixers’ plans — nor did he ever deride the franchise for their transparent tanking efforts.’

‘If you’re bearish, it might be the early portion of the schedule, which starts with the Ravens (road), Chargers (home), Vikings (road) and Packers (road). My goodness that’s a tough opening, and sure feels like a “throw McCarron/Peterman to the wolves” type of situation.’

This past season, Jaguars defensive end Yannick Ngakoue alleged that Incognito directed racial slurs in his direction during a Bills-Jaguars playoff game. Incognito denied the allegation and teammate Dion Dawkins came to his defense, while Jaguars defensive lineman Calais Campbell defended Ngakoue’s version of events.’
