However, Kansas City’s defense was able to hold firm down the stretch, forcing a turnover on downs, a three-and-out, and then holding the Bills to a (missed) field goal over their final three drives.’

‘And while Bass’ kick did all but officially seal the victory for the Chiefs, who’ll remarkably head to their sixth-consecutive AFC Championship Game, Buffalo’s banged-up defense simply couldn’t get Kansas City into 2nd-and-long and 3rd-and-long scenarios. The Chiefs ran 62 offensive plays in the victory and only got to third down five times. Incredible.’

‘With Ken Dorsey as offensive coordinator, Cook averaged 61.5 rushing yards per game, 22.2 receiving yards per game and found the end zone just twice. Under interim offensive coordinator Joe Brady, Cook averaged 72.4 rushing yards per game, 31.9 receiving yards per game and scored four total touchdowns. He finished out the regular season averaging over 100 scrimmage yards per game with Brady.’

The Bills went into Kansas City and beat the Chiefs earlier this season, the first win in what has become a six-game winning streak.’

‘The Bills are scheduled to face the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday at 6:30 p.m. ET in the divisional round. The good news is that — unlike last week when their wild-card game had to be moved to Monday due to bad weather — the snow that hit Buffalo is not expected to fall during Sunday night’s game, though it could continue through Saturday.’

‘A lake-effect snow warning is in place in Western New York, which includes Orchard Park where the Bills’ Highmark Stadium is located. That means Buffalo could receive one to three feet of snow while additional storming could run the total to over four feet. This warning is in place until Thursday at 7 p.m. ET, per Accuweather, Buffalo could receive snow fall through Saturday.’
