'You read that correctly. Ryan was calling plays the Bills hadn't practiced during the week. While they had called them in previous games, they weren't part of the game plan. It's not wonder the Bills' defense looked helpless at time. Another layer to this defensive meltdown is Ryan saying he was calling the plays. Earlier in the year, he said he handed those duties to defensive coordinator Dennis Thurman.'
