Two Bills Drive

'The Bills have to make a decision on their quarterback by March 11. If you pick up his option, you're locked into him for at least a couple more seasons, and owe him $30.5 million dollars guaranteed. That seems like a lot of money, but for the quarterback position in today's NFL, it's not.'

'Kansas City Chiefs co-offensive coordinator Brad Childress and former Jacksonville Jaguars offensive coordinator Greg Olson are the favorites to land the job.'

'Olson, who the Jacksonville Jaguars fired as their offensive coordinator late last October, is also considered "a top target" of the Bills, Rapoport reported and The News confirmed. Former Bills offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett replaced Olson in Jacksonville.'

'"As far as weighing my options, it's hard," Williams said. "It's like a tipping scale. You have a lot of pros and you have a lot of cons. Sometimes you don't want to listen to the cons. That's one of the more important things that I've learned that you have to listen to the cons more than the pros."'

'Childress, currently in his first season as co-offensive coordinator of the Chiefs after serving the last three seasons as Kansas City's spread game analyst.'

'Four coaches have agreed in principle to join McDermott's staff and one coach has been retained. Here's a look at each coach.'

'Waufle spent the past five seasons as the defensive line coach with the St. Louis/Los Angeles Rams. He also coached with the Oakland Raiders in two separate stints and also was on the New York Giants’ staff.'

'The only coach to officially be retained from Ryan's coaching staff to date is special teams coach Danny Crossman.'
