Davis joins a defensive line that already features Kyle Williams, Marcell Dareus, Jerry Hughes and Shaq Lawson. At 6-feet-2-inches tall and 260 pounds, Davis has the ability to be a situational pass rusher off the edge. He's never started a game in his NFL career.'

'"At the end of the day, in my head, I've mainly played guard being in the NFL," Ducasse said. "Then again, I was in Chicago two years ago in a situation where we didn't know if it was going to be guard or right tackle. So you kind of expect the unexpected, but thank God we had Kyle Long, who is very versatile and all that stuff. But once you have that title of O-line, you know, just be ready for anything. 'Alexander, 33, had a breakout season in Buffalo last year with 12.5 sacks. The Bills re-signed the former edge rusher despite questions surrounding his fit in the new defensive system under McDermott. Alexander thrived in a 3-4 under former head coach Rex Ryan, but McDermott will run a base 4-3. Along with his sack total, Alexander had 76 tackles and an interception, all career highs.'

'Overall, Davis has 11 sacks, an interception and three forced fumbles in 47 career games.'

'Buffalo gave Groy an original-round restricted free-agent tender earlier this month, worth $1.8 million. Because Groy was undrafted, the Bills will not receive any draft compensation if they decline to match the Rams' offer.'

'Davis spent last season with the Dallas Cowboys after entering the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2012. The 6-2, 260-pound Bethune-Cookman product has played 47 games in the NFL, recording 30 tackles, 11 sacks, one INT, three passes defensed, 26 QB hits, 12 tackles for loss, three fumbles forced and four fumble recoveries.'

'Sure, the Bills signed Philly Brown to add some much-needed depth — and he could even factor into the normal rotation at wide receiver as a No. 3 or No. 4 option. However, the Bills are still shockingly thin at the position and would have to rely on the group of Brown, Walt Powell, Kolby Listenbee, and Dez Lewis to take meaningful snaps.'

'A 6-2, 213-pound Tennessee-Martin product, Butler originally entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Baltimore Ravens in 2014. During his first three seasons in the NFL, Butler has appeared in 12 games in his NFL career and has totaled 33 receptions for 374 yards. In addition to the Ravens, Butler spent time with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New York Jets and San Diego Chargers during the 2016 season. '

'DE Ryan Davis has agreed to terms with the Buffalo Bills. Davis spent last season with the Dallas Cowboys and entered the NFL with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2012.'

'Taylor naturally had some casual conversations at One Bills Drive and other members of the offensive staff during his rehab period in January and February, but seeing how Culley operated as a coach during a “game” week at the Pro Bowl provided him with more insight as to what things would be like during the regular season.
