'According to Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network, the Bills worked out North Carolina quarterback Mitchell Trubisky on Sunday. Head coach Sean McDermott and team owner Terry Pegula were in attendance for the workout.'

'The Yates announcement came just hours after Gunter Brewer, the co-offensive coordinator of the University of North Carolina Tarheels tweeted out a picture he snapped with Bills head coach Sean McDermott and owner Terry Pegula.'

'Yates probably is more familiar with new Bills offensive coordinator Rick (Rico) Dennison’s system than Taylor. Yates spent his first three NFL seasons learning it, when Dennison served in the same capacity to then-Houston head coach Gary Kubiak.'

'Signing with Buffalo represents a second chance for Seau. He signed with Los Angeles Rams as an undrafted rookie free agent last year but was cut before the start of last season.'
